The restaurant and food was good with good service

No AC. And old property. No phone in the room

Great location and altogether a nice place to stay

The room was quite dated, clean but everything is getting a bit old.

The Breakfast was very good - no complaints

I didn't like the bathroom in my room. it was very tidy, just was not up to the rest of the hotel.

Car parking costs 15 Euros per night and I had to pay 20 Euros extra for my spouse despite booking for 2 people initially.

Breakfast was excelent and had a wide selection. Hotel also had a gym and sauna, which was very nice.

It’s at a great location. Clean and nice, staff was great.

The room was a bit dated and for example there were little holes and rips on the curtains.

Location, staff, cleanliness & facilities were all great! The room had a nice balcony and was dark enough.Nowadays the breakfasts have actual change with far more plant-based & options, not just leaflets on tables advertising as in the past, but real food option changes with it.

As with many Scandic hotels, the air conditioning unit was a noisy hum all theough the night which could not be switched off.I also tire of the 'bath or shower' option on this site, playing roulette as to whether I can have a room suiting my wishes until I'm at the hotel. In this case my preference of a bath tub was unfulfilled. The either-or option is a cop-out annoyance & I won't be choosing such hotels in future with this.

Good standard hotel in the center of Lappeenranta.

Poor breakfast. It is enough to eat in the morning but not tasty. I wish to go street cafe and eat there. Too soft bed.

Facilities are dated but at least they were clean .The beds are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, and the pillows are cheap and empty .

Great stuff and presentation. Upon checking the room was found to be not cleaned. It was late at night and dinner was already ordered prior to going to the room. Once staff was advise of the situation be rectified it by placing me in another room the very next day, which was an upgrade to a suite plus that same evening they gave me the opportunity of having dinner on the house, I’d like to thank Victoria, who was a great help and great professionalism was displayed by her

The room was a quirky corner room with odd blueprint which made it aesthetically pleasant (also I liked the colour theme). Bed was comfy and sauna was awesome, the jacuzzi was just the thing I needed. And I maybe ate too much breakfast as it was very good.

It's more expensive that scandic in Helsinki. Hotel is not new, but comfortable enough. Bad beds.

The hotel is right on the edge of the town centre and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Welcoming staff is what makes the first impression. Tidy, newly equipped room with super cosy beds. Perfect location in the center of the city, just 5 minutes walk from the Saima lake embankment. Breakfast is fresh and healthy with lots of variations.

May be just as suggestion - a kettle for tea in the room could be useful.

The hotel is located near the harbour, fortress, and city centre, so it is a very good location. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was amazing, many options.
