Protea Hotel Lusaka Tower

The location was very nice.

Only one outlet on one side of the Queen bed. Not enough to charge our devices. Staff seemed undertrained and inattentive. WIFI password was very confusing as they used zeros and capital O's in password. Would not stay again better hotels in Lusaka.

Need to improve room interior!

1.Lack of enough Sockets for mobile charging 2. No master switch for lights 3. Shower room tiles and no anti slip matt 4. There was no hair dryer and there was no toothbrush and toothpest which are very essentials 5. Not proper handling of food at breakfast hall, lack of verities of food .

I experienced some difficulty in obtaining my final invoice, which caused a bit of inconvenience during checkout. Streamlining this process would greatly improve the guest experience.The generator switched on and off multiple times throughout the night, and the noise level was quite disruptive—it felt as though the unit was very close to my room. I would recommend exploring ways to reduce the sound impact of the generator, especially during nighttime hours.

the restaurant prepared great meals, and the hotel is in a good convenient location to shops and businesses

the lighting in the room was very dark, and the bathroom lighting made it difficult to see clearly in the mirror, weak lighting and back lighting, so shaving was a hit and miss...

The check in was swift and straightforward. The breakfast is good, but the menu for dinner is slightly limited. The roof terrace is a nice place to sit, though it can become quite windy. One of the lifts was being replaced, so with only one lift available it sometimes took a bit of time to get to your room, or the rooftop restaurant/bar/terrace.

At some locations, the rubbers between the aluminium window frames is out of its sitting. This causes a lot (a LOT) of noise from the wind that blows and whistles through there. Quite annoying. Also annoying is that the lift, the one that was in service, stopped a few times bewteen floors, descends to reset, and goes up again. Not what you want when you need to check-out (which was swift and straightforwards again).

The driver didn't get to the airport on time and next time he should carry a client name on a paper and it must be visible because we don't know each other

Small Lobby and rooms are smaller compared to other 4 star hotels yet the price is higher than other 4 star hotels

It was a solid breakfast, with quality ingredients in an elegant and bright dining room. Omlette station, local food, continental food, american bacon - quite a good selection. Lovely service, decent coffee.

I belive the fish i order had been laying in the cooler to long. I am not sure if the is cubes was from tab water ore not. The pillows was to big en hard. To high price on everything.

There was very nice mini sliders for breakfast - such a relief to eat normal meat and not processed meat sausages. Also the property is close to East Park which was very convenient place to go and pick up some items from supermarkets there.

Had dinner and the salad counter had stale salad. It was complimentary - but that does not justify serving something less than what would be acceptable to customers in an upscale restaurant. Also I did read that this adjoining a shopping mall; which it is indeed. However, there are no shops that operate which is of any interest to most visitors - apart from a long chain of bureaux de change and branches of some banks. So shopping mall yes, shops no. Beat that !

Breakfast was good

We waited a long time for our food (45min) in the restaurant in the evening even though it was not busy. The wifi in the room was very poor and I could only access it by sitting next to the door.

The staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. It is close to major roads and the mall. I loved the food. They offer variety.

On my 3rd day, I was bitten by mosquitoes the whole night. I do not know how they got in. It's surprising because all the other days, I did not see any.
