Angels View Hotel

view excellent and food was very good.

We had a confirmed email for an early check in, upon arrival this was not arranged.

The disappointing part of my stay was when I had to top up my booking with R3000. I booked two rooms for four adults via Booking.com. All paid up before check-in, but however, we were checking in at the hotel said we needed to top up with R3000. We are extremely disappointed with that. If that is how they get extra cash in, then we will never recommend the hotel as it's a rip off, while you are far from any decent accommodation to book at.

Beautiful property with good finishes.

Staff at the reception was not very cordial and understanding about a small matter that I took to them regarding a car hire suggested by the property itself.

I enjoyed the location and amenities. Great staff and wonderful view.

The property is in the most stunning location with views across the valley and mountains. It is exceptionally clean, modern and well appointed. Everywhere is well maintained. Grounds are beautiful. The Earth Grottoes are very unique. The food in the restaurant is of a very high quality and the menu is varied. The reception staff and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful.

i asked to switch the room i was in due to leaking fridge and mould in the room instead they gave me a smaller room. it was my birthday weekend spoiled

Excellent and safe Location and an amazing view from our Grotto Room, Rooms were spacious and comfortable and had everything you needed and more. Meals were superb.

Staff seemed generally disengaged and uninspired. The facility was excellent but I couldn't help but feel that there was no soul, no vibe, Sterile almost...? Not a lot of guests which was a shame because the hotel and location is really amazing.The self promotion and GIANT paintings of the owner in the dining room were a bit creepy.

The stuff was very helpful.Dimpho adviced on where to go.She's so friendly and willing to go extra mile to help.And the guy who drives the cart a beautiful soul who was helpful.We loved our stay and can't wait to come back with our kids.

The only thing I didn't like was the hotel not having a jacuzzi and a heated pool.

The location

The smell of the room, it smells wetness. Can the porter dress in a proper dress code for welcoming visitors. He looked like a garden service guy.

Your staff members (Warren, William and Nthabi??) were lovely and friendly.

That I couldn't afford to stay in the Groto?, I so wish and pray to get 1 night at the Groto j??

Only one small in the entire villa. Two maximum would be good, one in kitchen area and one in bathroom just a suggestion.

Our stay at Angels View Hotel in Graskop was nothing short of amazing. The hotel offered the perfect blend of comfort and elegance, making it a fantastic base for exploring the breathtaking Panorama Route and nearby attractions like the stunning Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels.

Our bedrooms were absolutely amazing. Probably the best out of all the many places we stayed in South Africa on our budget

The evening meal in the restaurant was a bit Standard. The bar area was quite small and boxy. The place looks like a conference centre

Very Friendly well trained staff. They were Accommodating and helpfull. Beautiful hotel, love the Grotto rooms

Maintenance is not up to standard in the rooms. Light cover fell off. Concrete broken around shower trap. Hair dryer holder broken. Fridge doors need to open other side. 1 sliding door could not open. But the biggest issue is the overgrowth behind the fence blocking a clear view. This is the selling point of the rooms. Should be kept trimmed.

The views are amazing. The staff, especially the receptionist, made us feel welcome. She was informative and enthusiastic about everything the hotel had to offer

The room with the window at the top that has no blinds or curtains let ALOT of light into the room, aswell as the phone system. I prefer a dark room for a good nights rest.

Virtually everything, it is quite a nice modern place and their food is good...

The mold/mildew in the room (room 501) and the very strong smell thereof made the night very uncomfortable
