Hotel Seurahuone

I liked my room and it was very comfortable. The lounge was also very nice.

I had a problem working the wall heaters. Otherwise I had no problems.

Wonderful staff and nice breakfast.

The foyer smelled like mold. Rooms felt old and even though they probably was clean didn't feel clean.

Good parking, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, centrally located.

No real complaints, it was pretty basic but it had everything we needed.

Hotel smelled like shit and my guests had a heagache in the morning. They hide the fact that the hotel has bursted pipes. Money back would be the only right solution or free extra night.

The hotel is situated quite central in the city: 10 mins to the railway station and almost everything in walking distance.

The hotel is quite old: furniture, elevators. The breakfast options were few.

It is at a 5 minutes walking distance from the bus station.

I paid about 130€ for a night, so I was expecting the hotel to be clean.The lobby and the room was smelling moldy and the room felt cold.As soon as I opened the door to the room, I noticed an old arm chair which was so worn out that the inside foam was peeping out.There was a hole in the bedsheet. There was only 1 pillow in the bed, and because it was a Friday night, there were no staffs in the hotel to ask for extra pillows.The knob to the shower was broken.The handwash in the toilet was not refilled, so each time, I needed to wash my hands, I needed to use the shampoo in the shower.As the reception was closed after 8:00 pm on Friday and wouldn't open until next day 8:00 am there was no chance of getting coffee or hot water for someone who needed it. At least a water boiler and few sachets of tea/coffee in the room would be appreciated.

A very good location. The breakfast was satisfactory but repetitive from day to day.

The standard room was basic, as expected (Knowing in advance there would be no coffee making facilities nor mini fridge).

Reception ladies were super nice, even though I was late due to car issues and by the time I've arrived they weren't working, they have left a key with all info at the bar and I didn't have to stay outside :-) nothing fancy but the room was clean and enough for one person for one night (in my case). Breakfast was enough also, cant argue with the taste, but scrambled eggs was not to my taste. Other than that everything else is good. Thank you!

The location was good. Close to everything. The breakfast was ok. You get what you pay. The service was brilliant!

The first thing in the lobby was the old and dirty smell. Elevator was old, small and untidy.

The place definitely has got some charm of the past, starting with the old "HÔTEL" -sign on the facade. Staff is friendly and trying their very best in challenging circumstances. The rooms are kept clean allright.

Unfortunately the hotel would need a complete make-over / renovation to meet any decent modern standard. The ageing shows in bathrooms, furniture, linen... in everything. The staff is fighting an uphill battle to keep things running.

The location was amazing and the breakfast was excellent.

The size of the bed was small, there was no complementary tea or coffee and no electric boiling kettle.

the stuff was not really friendly and the room was poorly kept, cold and lots of dust behind the t.v. table. the bathroom too was poorly cleaned.

Centrally located with a parking lot in front of hotel, free parking with permit from hotel. Nice breakfast and staff. Room also had a fridge which was very nice.

There's a smell when arriving to the fifth floor and room, but one got used to it not to notice it very fast. The hotel has seen better days but for a one night stay and central location, free parking, good breakfast I was not disappointed about the smell or that the shower soap container had not been refilled.

Just basing on Google Maps, the hotel is close or a few minutes walk from the center and bus station. The breakfast and restaurant were good. The staff though, were accommodating . It's an old hotel but still functions good . I'd still recommend this.

What the hotel failed to inform real time was that there were many construction works on the road. i had to drag my wheeled suitcase through mud. They could've at least warned me on the booking.com app messaging feature. I just later found out which exact streets to take so i won't have to pass along the construction works. This would've made the hotel a real hospitality example.There were also few stair steps going to the lobby from the road. There's no ramp for suitcases.
