Thon Hotel Moldefjord

Location.

Single suit is not so single. There is a door in your room to your neighbor’ suit. I did not feel comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler.

Outstanding location - we disembarked from one of the Havila ships - and the hotel was steps away. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was very good.

Friendly staff, convenient parking, comfortable room, near to restaurants and tourist sites, and a good breakfast.

Location was perfect for me as it was right across the harbour where the cruise ships and havila stop. I arrived at 22:40 in the evening there was staff at the reception constantly. Very friendly people. My room had a balcony and mini fridge. There was also an ironing board in a closet. Nice big bed in the room. From the bed you saw whatever cruise ship was docked at the moment or the water. Depending on your feelings this can be a good or bad thing. Molde isn't a big place but the location is very central. A good breakfast buffet that is served by the restaurant next door (you don't have to go outside to get there). You could hear people entering their rooms from the hallway etc, but you couldn't hear them when they were in their room so the noise insulation was good (at least in my room)

The toilet and sink in the bathroom are very low to the floor... it seems like one of those children toilets you sometimes have at campings or pools or something.

The location is excellent, only a 5-7 minute walk from the bus station. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and quiet. The breakfast was enjoyable.

It seems like the staff at the downstairs hotel restaurant, Egon, are from different teams. The breakfast team was very nice and friendly, but the dinner team was quite rude.

Bathroom a bit cramped.

Breakfast was very well served & a lot of variation & choices.Also they had a nice assortiment of gluten- lactose free products.

Being tall. Toilet was up against a wall and had to use it sideway as legs would not fit between toilet seat and wall.

The hotel is at a good central location. Our rooms where with Harbour view, but we had a cruise ships just right infringe of the room.

The rooms where quite outdated and the staff was not particularly friendly

Hotel was located in town and staff were welcoming and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious!

Room was good size and comfortable (has all the facilities including an iron and board). Location is next to the port. Hotel has their own restaurant downstairs, which is quite decent. Breakfast is served in before mentioned restaurant and was very good, with a lot of options.

There was no parking. The staff did advise us however where to park (3 min walk from hotel). The light in the bathroom was motion triggered, so when you pee at night you are welcomed by a brighter than heavenly light.

Reasonably priced hotel very central in Molde, close to all facilities, two minutes' walk from the theatre and cultural centre. Good breakfast buffet, friendly staff.

The bathrooms were a bit too small.

Parking spots were full, unfortunately no reservations for parking possible.

A noisy elevator engine close to my room. Room and bathroom very narrow. Few spaces available in the parking lot.

Some areas are a bit worn down, and maintenance could be better. Noise from nearby pub was a bit too loud.

Perfect location and more perfect breakfast with greate service from staff.Reception staff was very friendly and helpful at all times.Good rooms with good beds and blankets/pillows. Clean comfortable bathroom.Will stay here again next time in Molde.

Walls decoration in my room were just suberb!

I heard other guests moving chairs on the floor, it was disturbing
