The breakfast was wonderful with lots of selection hot and cold. Friendly Service. We do recommend this place. Downtown is easy accessible with the complimentary ferry that runs every 36 minutes during the day.

Kristiansund doesn’t have much going on, but that’s not the hotel’s fault!

Great place to stay in Kristiansund. Free parking and charge points available. Excellent breakfast with a fantastic view. Short walk to the free ferry service that will take you to the four islands of Kristiansund.

The location is very nice and convenient. The breakfast is good. The views are nice

I payed for a room with a nice fjord view and the ENTIRE HOTEL WAS BEING RENOVATED, so the balcony/windows were covered with plastics and there were scaffolds all along the facades with workers from very early morning. I could not open the windows. When I asked to be moved they said the entire hotel was like that. They should not have offered rooms “with a view” for more money.

Like all Thon hotels, the room was well organised, the staff very helpful and the breakfast excellent. The location is very peaceful and beautiful and the view from the window was stunning

The room appeared spacious for a single room but was in fact cramped and some nimbleness was required to teach the window. The location was a bit inconvenient for us about 30 min from the port/bus station as we were on public transport though a taxi was easy to get.

Comfortable spacious rooms with waterfront views. Location across the harbor from but a free foot ferry connects. Free parking.

The restaurant had limited hours and was mediocre and expensive, especially for this town.

Free on-site parking in front of the hotel. Adequate size room and bathroom for a short stay. Decent shower with great water pressure. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet with a large selection of items. Short ferry ride to get to the downtown area, but nothing to see or do in Kristiansund, used it as a stop-over on our way to Trondheim.

The thermostat control on the heater was broken off so you couldn’t regulate the heat. They should have never rented this room until it is fixed.

Lovely island location with parking outside and sea views.Nice restaurant and good dinner and breakfast.Interesting walk around the neighbourhood.Check out time is 12.00 noon so plenty of time to relax

Great place to stay in Kristiansund, the views from the rooms are amazing, the breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and the windows were facing the harbor, they had black-out curtains for the summer nights.

There's a problem with parking spaces, but they do have another parking just 2 minutes away from the hotel, not a big inconvenience.

The room didn't feel large and was on the darker side, but as a hotel presumably focused on shorter/business stays, this was no problem.Walking distance from city center, but not the closest, and via a large bridge - not the most convenient.

Great harbour front location with a fabulous terrace to enjoy an expensive Norwegian beer. Quality room and fittings with comfortable beds. Good dinner and breakfast buffet. Convenient parking.

- for guests who dont drive, wouldnt recommend this location as it is over the bridge and the other side of town-there were no restaurants on the same side of the hotel open!!! Thankfully we drove and used the car to bring us to downtown to eat.-there is a free ferry but it does not go directly to the other side (downtown) and it passes thru another island. It is not frequent (every 30-45mins)-no bedrm slippers unfortunately-shower was small and had two moving doors so water could spill out to the toilet easily

The hotel looked as if it had been revamped so everything was very clean and new looking. The buffet dinner, normally something we would avoid, was very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast served in the morning had a great selection and was good quality.

There was nothing much else to do on this island (no other cafes etc) without crossing over the bridge.

Nice hotel in a good location with free parking.

Buffet dinner in restaurant was disappointing. The fillet of beef had run out by 7.30 with a beef burger being the alternative. As the meal was a set price, this was most disappointing and expensive.

Everything was exceptional! A big, comfortable room with spectacular view! A rich breakfast positively completed my experience!

Restaurant closed on a Sunday and ferry across the water to town centre not running so a long walk in the rain into town for a meal. However, the hotel staff were most helpful in advising where we could go for a meal and offering to help order food in if necessary.

The room overlooked the water and it was possible to open the windows all the way. The rooms were pleasantly decorated with good beds. The breakfast was completely _amazing_

Can't remember anything I disliked.
