Novotel Manaus

Dishonesty of the cleaning staff. They tried to charge us mini bar items which we didn't use. It seems novotel has a notoriety of falsely chargingguests on minibar, as this happened to us in novotel, sao paulo. Got to check your hotel bill carefully.

Great breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The toilet seat is too tight to sit comfortably. Location a bit out of way.

The pool was fab, Nice sunset over the pool, family room. Great, hot shower.Good and Varied breakfast. Small playroom by the reception desk. We only stayed a night, arrived after an overnight trip in the jungle and had a perfect pool day before our next flight.

Size of the family room was on the small size, adequate but small. Seemed to need to pay a service charge everywhere.

Front desk staff were charming, very helpful and efficient.Really impressed. Too team,. Ketlhen, Karoline and Andrea.I wish all hotels were as good on reception and helpfulness.

Someone needed on the breakfast buffet counter to help.

Everything is aged. Room was small for family of 4. Status at ALL was not recognized. Location is not good, but everything can be reached by Uber easily.

Staff was awesome. We arrived a bit earlier and the receptionist set us up with wifi so we could work. She also arranged that the tv in the lobby would show the EURO cup on my request. As soon as a room was available she handed us the key. The pool is heated and very clean. Nice place to relax a bit. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good too.

Internet in the room was very weak. Not existing to be honest.

Breakfast was amazing! The Novotel team was helpful and friendly. The location is quiet and beautiful.

The hotel is nice, and the staff was very helpful.

The swimming pool did not have the intern lights working making it unsafe during the night, not secure for kids if they want to swim at night.

Wi-Fi was slow even in the room. The check-in process was a bit slow and they don't let my husband to accumulate the hotel points/enjoy a membership discount even he is a member of the hotel group. They said it's because I booked under my name, not my husband but other hotel groups allow me to do so.

At first they gave me a room which had another guest already. The hotel was full and they gave me a room with a horrible smell, seems like nobody cleaned it up in a while.

Restaurant in the lobby was excellent.

Very old hotel with no upgrade. Location is bad. But apparently this is the “best” hotel in Manaus. This is why they don’t need to improve

Tasty and abundant breakfast, quiet room (one of the quietest hotels I ever stayed in), amazing swimming pool, comfortable beds and pillows, comfortable temperature in the room, polite staff.

There was no shampoo in the shower for some reason (even though the bottles were attached to the wall). Sink had draining issues.

Location was not ideally.No restaurants in the vicinity.Could be cleaner.

Old property, small rooms, we had a problem with the safety box ( didn’t work) and keys to our room didn’t work all the time

The staff was really friendly and the room was very comfortable and quiet. The Minibar fridge had a decent size. I could easily put ice cream inside there and cool my water bottles. The shower was also large. I really liked that there was a cleaning service available for all my clothes. All in all a good hotel with lots of friendly people and activities inside the hotel.

Unfortunately the wifi was slow and sometimes the TV didn't work. I had to creat a hotspot in order to use the Smart TVs functions. The toilet door is not a real door, but a kind of swinging door. I did not like that especially when you are on your first dates.

Breakfast was fine. Room was comfortable…until the AC broke.

The air conditioning quit in the middle of the night. It was a systemic issue, not limited just to our room, but the night manager did not call a technician to come until morning.
