The landline did not work so we were unable to contact Reception. The spa only responded to our message and calls after we had checked out.

I liked how the resort has so many family activities - x3 swimming pools, a big water slide, tennis courts, rental bicycles.Everyday the resort also had additional activities we could participate in -ie volley ball, painting for kids . Friendly welcoming staffI enjoyed the self catering option and also the flexibility of being able to visit the restaurant on site.Oh the peacock lady is a beauty - and the visits from the animals around our unit.We enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, serene place . Bingo was the best .

The noise of the bats in the roof during the night . My sleep was disturbed because of the constant noise of the bats in the roof . The monkeys is also a nuisance

Restaurant food was affordable and delicious.Boat cruise was lovely.The peace and quiet in the resort.

Heated floor in my room had an error,, shower was not working.The heated pool facility left much to desire.

The wide array of entertainment on site is amazing!

It would’ve been good to have a service available to drop off wood bought from the on site convenience store to the units as not all not all Magalies guests have their own transport on site for the duration of their stay.

Me and my kids enjoyed our stay there.Our chalet was clean.The kids enjoyed all the activities.A special thanks to our waiter Justin.He was ao friendly.He made sure we enjoyed our dinner.The food was so delicious.We'll definitely come back again ?

the heated pool is not heated enough and it is too small a section when so many people are there in winter. a better hydro heated pool should be made.the kids facilities was disappointing - as they were limited with stock on hand when it came to the bikes

We were there for a wedding at Red Ivory and didn't experience any of the amenities.

A 15 minute time waster counting spoons and forks. That list was 4 pages long. It seemed very low class and bothersome.

Great value for money. Views are amazing and there’s lots of facilities for entertainment. The restaurant also has good food at a reasonable price

The location to other activities and restaurant was great.

There was so many swimming pools around the property but all were so cold! The only heated pool was a small indoor one that looked fluorescent and always had people packed in like sardines swimming in it. It’d be great if the main outdoor pool was also heated.

Restuarant's prices are excellent and facilities are all good very peaceful stay! Oh, and the boat ride was also great! Animals are too cute and very tame!

Our 2nd year and a 10/10 for First Group Magaliespark. Accommodation was great, clean, spacious and everything we needed was available. Loved the views, nature, and animals. Staff were very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed the gholf, put-put, restaurant, spa, and all the other activities at Magaliespark. So many things to do in and around. Best holiday destination. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Even in a family oriented resort there were enough spaces with less screaming children. We were located in a quieter area of the resort.

Some lodges thought it was OK to blast music at night and we were not able to reach reception later in the evening to report it.

the boat ride was great and captain is wonderful

the towels in the room were old and dirty. Bats were flying around in the chalet we couldn't sleep.

Magalies park is close to Jhb. The heated pool was gross. The pools on site is too cold. The accommodation in the 3 bedroom chalet was better than the others . there was a smell in the cupboards. Staff are very friendly and helpful. 2 bedroom superior was not nice. And not cleanResort needs a revamp. Lots of potential The golf course is amazing though with beautiful animals walking around.

The environment and privacy

The floors were not cleaned in our unit, plenty of dust in the blinds and windows.
