They charged me more R100 than I was booked . Next day I went to complain and they sa : «  it was fee service » . And I showed that all fees included to the price I booked . And the return me moneyAs well they don’t provide drinking water in the room , like every hotel does .

How nice the staff from the reception was, very easy check.in, place me in a very nice room, I am very thankful to them.

At Breakfast I had a very unpleasant situation with the lady responsible for the breakfast staff, in the kitchen. I called at 7h Am to the front office asking if it was possible to take away some breakfast, fruit and bread only. The gentleman transfer the call to the breakfast area, kitchen and I talked to a very nice man that sais yes and got me everything prepared to leave at 9h. It all went well, I got to the breakfast area at 9h he was fining getting my boxes ready, with a lot of love and care. All the staff in the breakfast was nice to me, talking to me, we were all happy. All of the sudden, when I was about to leave with the 2 boxes, a lady, that I do not recall the name, came storming form the back of the kitchen area saying "you cannot take the breakfast with you"... It was a very unpleasant situation, and the focus here is not about the sanitary rule, it was her communication skill. She is not trained to deal with a situation like this, she easily very rude and need more training. If she treats a customer like me, that was talking to her nicely and politely, I imagined what she would do if I have argue her decision... Also, Filipe, the person who transfer the call in the morning, from front office, is the only one I do not like, because he also needs communication training, they are lacking soft skills... I truly recommend for management to review this situation and act accordingly.,

Location

The room. It was definitely not the one on Booking. It was actually terrible small, old and dirty.

The breakfast and quick response from the staff were good. The central location also helped us during rainy days or when we needed to pick up something quickly in a store.

On the first day, we had to upgrade our room to have the bed sheets cleaner and receive better service. We spent more than we expected on these upgrades, without any negotiation or support from the hotel's service. The line of Intercity hotels is quite different and we were quite surprised by the bad support on this one specifically.

The location is superb; it's practically downtown the Rodoviária (bus station) is almost across from the hotel, and it's very near the Mercado Público, where you can go shopping for souvenirs or simply grab a beer.From just outside the lobby, there is a great view of the bay and the lovely Hercílio Luz bridge.Also, they have a collective of restaurants and bars right next door, called Armazém Rita María, which is quite lively and slightly upscale.The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

The pool's water was a bit too cold for my taste.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Could hear people outside the hotel but slept through the noise okay.

The hallways were basic, nothing fancy but ended up not hearing people in the hallways at night so all good!

Rooms from 5th floor up were all renovated and they are in pristine condition. On the 4th floor which we've stayed a few days ago they were passable. Reception attendants are very well trained and very polite. The restaurant owner wiill do mostly whatever It takes to please you, but do not ask for the pizzas: they are not good and since they come from a third party there is nothing he can do to improve.them. Red wine FOYE, carmenere ou cabernet ate pretty good choices to accompany your meal.Breakfast brings a huge variety of itens including pitaya and grapefruit.

They charge you parking even if your car rests outside. Under renovation. Expensive

Staff were extremely nice and friendly, they offered to look after me when I was crossing the street at 5am to go to the bus station. Nice location in front of the bus station. Clean and tidy room. Good breakfast.

Nothing. Everything was good. Would recommend.

Comfortable bed, good location

We were offered an upgrade to a luxury couple room. The room certainly wasn't luxury though it was very suitable. I feel luxury was stretching the truth a bit.

Location, good breakfast

Renovation work taking place 9-5 every day. Directly above our room (901). The loudest drilling, hammering etc into concrete where you couldn't even hear someone speaking, so was completely unbearable being in the room at these times. No prior mention of this which is unacceptable. Not much the staff could do about it when saying to them. Decent enough hotel but don't go anywhere the 9th floor whilst they are renovating

Good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff

The room was definitely much smaller than what the pictures suggest. Particularly for this price I had expected more comfort.

Good location by the bus station, public market and Armazém. Nice view from our 11th floor room. Decent breakfast.

I don't liked the reception service,the pool area and there's not a restaurant for meals.

The last time we spent a night without our daughter, before C19, this hotel was ok. It is clean, simple, designed to be uncomplicated, good for a business trip to Baia Sul Hospital (5 minutes drive). Breakfast was very simple, with good coffee and fruit salad, with a very gentle waiter. There is a brand new small place with beautiful tiny shops 10 meters from the hotel.

Check-in was messy, the front desk couldn't find our booking, and the only message we had sent, advising we would need a crib, was ignored. We arrived after midnight and our baby had to sleep in our queen bed. This resulted in bad sleep for the family.The driver from the valet parking mentioned he would bring our luggage, and it was done after we asked again, only at 6 am. It took 9 minutes to find and bring our car in the morning. And on the second night, the car was parked in front of the building, because the garage was full - but we were charged anyway.

Hot water was great, bed was nice, breakfest was good.

The pillows was very bad. Too thin.

Excellent check-in, excellent breakfast. Staff gave us good orientation and took good care.

All good.
