    • Great location with good breakfast

    Cons -

    • They didn¿t give me the room I Booked
    • Lobby very busy and staffs not so friendly
    • The rooftop bar is not accessible throughout the week and the main bar was not open during the day. I don't think I have ever stayed in a 5 star hotel that doesn't have a bar open all day to cater for guests.

Location is excellent, right on the Beira-Mar. Rooms had fantastic views over the Beira-Mar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent also.

The rooftop bar is not accessible throughout the week and the main bar was not open during the day. I don't think I have ever stayed in a 5 star hotel that doesn't have a bar open all day to cater for guests.

Very convenient to the mall and restaurants, etc

They put us in a room close to loud music that played all night until 4 am. We got very little sleep. The staff seemed unconcerned! They should warn customers to be in rooms far away from the loud music!!!

    Great breakfast and location.

Staff missed giving clean towels and paper towels after making the room. The room smelled like wet towels - no external ventilation. Not the best value for the money.

The location was great and the view

Air conditioning not warming up initially, noise during the night in the air conditioning.Internet initially with problems and sorted

Loud Room, Stolen Pijama, and Worst coffee ever.

Rude staff, stole my pijama, the room was super loud no insulation whatsoever. The coffee is the worst in Brazil.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. The location was perfect just by the main shopping mall and across the main road to the promenade. The promenade was approx 10k all along the shore line and great for an early morning walk/run. spacious room with a view across the bay.

    Please read the review below.

The Majestic Hotel offers an overall decent experience, but there is a significant issue with the room’s dampness. The musty odor is overwhelming, and my clothes quickly absorbed the unpleasant smell due to the lack of windows for ventilation—aside from the air conditioning. While I would be eager to return due to the exceptional five-star service, the breakfast leaves room for improvement. I would rate it four stars, as it lacks that final touch. The variety of main dishes could be changed more frequently, and offering sparkling wine or champagne would elevate the experience to match the standards expected of a five-star hotel. Additionally, providing welcome water in the room should be a standard amenity for a hotel of this caliber. While most of the staff are friendly, some do not come across as genuine. Upon my arrival, I was disappointed to find that I was assigned a dirty room after requesting an early check-in. Furthermore, I was mistakenly charged for drinks consumed by the previous guest. Although the manager removed the charges, no sincere apology was offered, nor was any attempt made to make amends, such as offering a complimentary drink. This lack of consideration left us feeling upset.I visit Florianópolis annually and would love to return to this hotel, but the dampness issue is a serious concern that requires the attention of upper management. The only aspect of my stay that lived up to five-star standards was the dinner, which was excellent and well-executed.I hope my feedback is taken constructively, as my intent is to help improve the guest experience. My words should be viewed as suggestions to turn into action, with the goal of encouraging repeat guests.

Everything except the maintenance and room service.

Many things are showing signs of usage. I guess with small investments the rooms could have an air of new. Room service also came cold and very industrial. Below standard of a five stars hotel. Breakfast also little bit below…

    Location is okay

Not clean, absolute 0 value, loud hotel, dirty and fungus. Is not even a 3 star hotel

Location was great and near to an excellent shopping mall and lots of bars and restaurants. Some good facilities but not enough to suggest a 5 *

We were very unhappy with our Executive suite on floor 12 room 1201 as soon as we were shown to our room immediately you could smell a strong odour of damp/ mustiness which was overpowering and not happy about the fact the reception gave us very little information when checking in so we had to ask about the hotel ourselves .The first morning we woke up to find the entire living area floor was extremely wet and this was clearly an ongoing issue, and explains why the room smelt so musty and damp. When we complained about the wet floor we were told it was due to our air conditioning was on a too higher setting and causing the floor “to sweat’ because the room below was on a very cold setting ?Our coffee machine was broken and eventually got replaced on the 3rd day.We were shocked to discover on the first day when we went to use the outdoor pool that there was major construction work next door to the property and the noise of drilling/piling and dust was awful . Nobody at the time of booking the Majestic Palace hotel ever advised that we would have this construction activities whilst we stayed for 4 days and totally spoilt our time relaxing by the pool. Breakfast time was chaotic due to so many people all going about the same time and made breakfast time incredibly noisy and definitely not at all relaxing and it seemed as though the hotel was struggling with organising a process and timing system to control things and finally the staff generally looked very unhappy and totally demotivated

Excellent location at Beira Mar avenue, and good service overall. Breakfast offers a good selection of Brazilian staples, including pão de queijo, tropical fruits, fresh juices, and Minas cheese.

However, the decor feels a bit outdated, reminiscent of the early 2000s. As a Palace Hotel, I would expected a higher standard in hospitality and facilities. We were charged 20 BRL for two oral hygiene sets that included a travel-sized toothbrush and toothpaste, which are typically provided as complimentary amenities in hotels of this caliber. Overall a good experience, but it left us wishing for a bit more elevated hospitality experience.

The staff is very helpful and extremely kind. There is a lot to do around the hotel and in the hotel- if you wanted to never get in a cab and just chill in this area, you would be fine. Huge mall across the street and great dining all around. The hotel dining is good as well. The hotel is older , but they have kept up with it well.

Great location for the hotel but the room are a little dated. The breakfast was very good and wifi was spotty at times. The cigar lounge on the main level is excellent with amazing staff!

    Good

"For the high price range in Brazil, this hotel is disappointing and far from 5-star standards. The apartments were not properly cleaned, and many features felt outdated and poorly maintained. The TV quality was subpar, and although I spent most of my time outside, it was still underwhelming. The gym was also outdated and did not meet expectations. Overall, the hotel lacks the modernity and quality that should justify its premium pricing."
