Novotel Lubumbashi

The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. I really liked the smart TV function and being able to pair my phone and watch my programs when relaxing at night.

The fridge in my room was not working. There was no cold water available in the room, only room temperature water. It would make better sense to have both cold and room temperature water readily available in the room.

LocationCleanliness

OVERLY priced for a 4 star hotel especially since other Novotel properties are reasonable.Food was BASIC.

Easily accessible location and Spacious room

The lift was super slow Restaurant service was slow. Especially room service that took a while hour to bring up a glass of wineOverall the experience was great but staff need quick upgrade to bring them at the same level as other Novotel staff (Côte d'Ivoire is awesome)Should consider installing night light underneath the sink for traveller's like me who prefer a totally dark room

I didn’t like the air conditioning in the room. I don’t even like the service and the food that was delivered to my room. And I didn’t like it that every 15 minutes the power goes off because they say that there’s no movement in the room which is very bad while I’m paying $195 no breakfast, including

The food was fresh and the decor is simply beautiful

Dirty rugs at the corridors and the dust, they also allow random people in the lobby without asking them where they are going

Excellent property. Closely located to the area for my work. Property is clean, good workout facility. Excellent selection for breakfast. Had dinner every night; food was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and professional.

New property

They tried to charge me four times the price when I checked in. Room was only cleaned at 18h00 the next day. Needed to change my flight to return to SA one day earlier, but they would not accommodate a credit on my on e nights stay paid for but not used. I told them I don’t want a refund but a credit as I am returning to Lubumbashi for business again in January. They asked me to email the manager which I did, and still await the courtesy of a response five days later.

Very good size room, clean, staff very supportive, food was great !!

no issues or concerns

Cleanliness, good food, fast internet, good location ...

Expensive drinks

Good new facilities, comfortable room, small but well equipped fitness gym, and wonderful breakfast.Services are also good, staffs kindly gave us free late check out till around noon.

Shuttle service was quite expensive. Just 15 min drive from Lubumbashi airport to Hotel has costed 130 US$ for 2 persons.

The breakfast was not as good as expected and the room service takes forever to respond . The location is very good as it’s allows easy accessibility to different restaurants banks and shops

The welcome and service rendering at the reception. Most of the booking done on line could not be seen on their system at the reception.

Foe a new hotel there are a few niggles that need ot be ironed out yet I cant fault the staff for their willingness to resolve. The meals were outstanding both dinner and breakfast. I will definitely stay here again

Our checkout process was tedious, again I think was due to staff newness and not inefficiency. The music played in the bar and roof terrace could be softer as its not a night club.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Amazing food

The provisions in the room are too basic for the price. Needs more. No lotion and basic grooming material. Should have a business centre too!

Expensive early check in policy

everything was amazing. I do love it

I did not have the right to the breakfast buffet. I suppose to pay, but when I booked it was free.
