Agulhas Ocean House

What great value for money. The hosts were exceptional and were on call at any time for anything we needed. They also gave great recommendations for restaurants nearby and which walks to take. The views were amazing, our balcony that we had overlooked the mountain and the front window looked over the sea. The breakfast was included and was really delicious. We had everything we needed and the room was very spacious as we had our two dogs with us but they are house trained so we could take them outside to the garden. Sheryl and Allan are such fantastic hosts. You feel welcome from the moment you arrive in the parking lot. The decor and views are amazing. Rooms are spacious, well equip and clean. We will definitely visit again.

My wife and I were warmly greeted by couple-owners Allan and Sheryl; they actually walked out to meet us as we were pulling into the parking lot. We travel extensively and cannot recall a nicer, warmer welcome anywhere. The location of the home is perfect, about 3km from Cape Agulhas and the lighthouse, and I was able to jog to/from the southern tip along a stunning coastal road. Our room was very nicely furnished and the made-to-order breakfast from their daughter Tash exceeded our expectations. Dinner recommendation was also excellent and convenient.

We loved our one night stay at Agulhas Ocean House. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely private deck out the back. The back garden is lovely and the common living room on the top floor has stunning views of the ocean. Sheryl and Allan are hands on hosts and interested in chatting with their guests, we had some great conversations with them. Sheryl recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner and even made a reservation for us. They personally made breakfast the next day because their cook was away and it was great. The location is perfect and close to all the top attractions in Agulhas. We highly recommend staying at this lovely guest house if you are coming to Agulhas.

The best hosts that I have ever had! Sheryl and Alan came out to greet us when we arrived. They offered us tea in their beautiful lounge with it's gorgeous view of the ocean. They advised us what was available in the area and even booked a restaurant for us. The accommodation was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended ?.

Incredible stay, time we arrived and met by the hosts. Offered tea in the upstairs lounge and chatted. Made to feel at home. The room was excellent. Mirror next to the hand basin for shaving. Bathroom superb. Bed comfortable. View excellent. Went the extra mile for something I asked to do. Breakfast excellent . Superb hosts ,arrived as guests ,left as friends. It was my third time staying in Aghulas Ocean house and it's just the most perfect place in every way - the owners are so very-very sweet, the Ocean House is spotless clean and cosy, breakfast is fresh and tasty. And Aghulas itself is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.
