Pros +
- The decor and look. Breakfast was a nice spread too.
- Location, hospitality and the breakfast
- Good location, windows open, comfortable beds, variety at breakfast. Nice outdoor area although unusable unless you want to inhale cigarette smoke ?. It is loud, like everywhere downtown. There is a hostel that plays loud music a few blocks away.
Cons -
- The hot and cold water were hit and miss in the shower. One minutes it¿s scolding hot and the tiniest movement it¿s ice cold.
- There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about it!
- The booking listing is not accurate, a twin room claims and shows two full beds but they are twins.

Very happy to stay. The Stuffs are very helpful. Good location and convenient, comfortable
Excellent location, professional staff, beautiful hotel and a great breakfast with a wide variety of products. Jaime is outstanding in what he does!
The location of the hotel was truly fantastic! walking distance to the main square and the convent. It is next door to 13 monjas one of the best restaurants in Arequipa so it's extremely convenient. Staff was very nice, we were able to do a late checkout for 35 usd, which was helpful! Breakfast felt traditional to Andean breakfasts with a nice variety of local breads and yummy foods. We were also offered fresh eggs which is always nice. It was perfectly comfortable, very clean and perfect location to walk in the historic center of Arequipa. The area felt super safe! I would 100% reccomend
If I was being picky maybe the room decorations could be a little prettier but comfort wise it was simple, clean and perfect!
Very helpful & friendly staff. Lovely street/surrounding area. Wonderful breakfast.
Nothing!
Excellent breakfast Staff at breakfast place was Very nice Jaime was very helpful in our stay in Arequipa overall Hotel was as expected just a bit noise at night due to bars and night clubs are close by.
Love the place
The location is very centered.
They gave us a room with two beds however I booked with one double and said that they ran out of the one-bed rooms...
Location and kindness of hotel personnel.
We were on the 4th floor and there was a noise coming from what seemed to be the laundry room. For about 2 hours per day.
The location is the best right in front of Santa Catalina Monastery. The building was the rest place for guests visiting nuns in the monastery.
I made a reservation twice for this hotel: through booking and directly. Directly is horrible as they asked me to pay upfront with no option to cancel if I were to change my plans. I thought the hotel would have more charm. There is charm in the entrance patio, but the rest is a modern hotel building.
Breakfast was exceptional and the hotel staff (River and Blanca) were very gracious/ professional. The hallway lighting was a bit dim, but was eventually replaced with brighter bulbs. Bathrooms - both in the room and public areas were clean and appeared to be well maintained, although the shower drain in our room (412) was slow to drain. If you are visiting from outside of South America you will need to get used to placing toilet tissue into a trash pail! The rooms could use an increased supply of towels. Really, the only complaint I would have is there are no wash cloths supplied, so you will need to bring or buy your own. Unfortunately, we could not stay longer!
The hallway lighting was too dim. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. The map supplied by the front desk needs to be a “top down” view rather than a perspective projection, and needs to indicate both scale and “North.”
Right next to the monastery which is well worth a visit. Easy walking distance to plaza and restaurants.
Location was amazing. Price to quality was exceptional.
Towels were not that good. Maybe add some free water.
Building was quite nice and very close to the main square. The staff of the hotel was super nice and helpful. Breakfast had a big selection of different things. The person in charge of the breakfast, Jaime, is lovely and extremely kind and very helpful. We felt very comfortable during our stay
Windows are not very soundproof and the room we got was close to a disco so could be a bit loud at nights on that side of the building
Good location and reasonable price
The room was cold and there was no temperature control in the room.breakfast was not impressive at all.
The location is superb
It’s a little bit old and the tv does not have a clear signal
Very nice hotel, front of Santa Catalina Monasterio The room is big and well furnished The breakfast is really increible ( alfajores...)
great location in the historic Centre just across the street to Santa Catalina. beautiful design of the rooms and lobby fitting the style of the city, comfortable and clean rooms. they have an underground garage parking so you can sleep calm without worries about your car :)
in the night you can hear a bit of the street bar noise, most staff didn’t speak well English. the breakfast was not the best variety, but I guess it’s a local standard.
The location was fantastic opposite the monastery and just a short walk to the main square. The building was lovely and the staff very welcoming
There was no hot water for a shower
