- There were no power converters available. You had to purchase one for seven dollars each. At one of the other hotels I stayed there. They had some American plugs.
- The location
- Modern, renovated rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Live music in lobby. The rooms were huge with very comfortable beds. All the meals in the dining room were excellent. Breakfast was included and very nice.

We liked the location, even though its not in the center of the city. It was close to hang gliding and Pedra da Gavea and a bit quieter area.
