    Pros +

    • I found the lobby to be very pretty, and the beds were rather comfortable. The warm water was really hot, which is something I personally find very appealing, and the tournament that was going on downstairs was extremely fun!
    • Great location. Spacious room.
    • Breakfast was good, location is excellent for visiting the Liberdade district. Parking was good, better prices if compared to third party parking areas.

    Cons -

    • The room itself didn't have much. The advertisement mentioned there would be a table and 2 more chairs, but instead, we had another bed. Which was completely useless... The television was rather outdated and the wi-fi connection was unstable at best. The toilet also seemed to infinitely discharge water, so every time I had to open it up to lower the valve manually, so it could fill up with water. Lastly, I believe the AC unit's filter needed to be changed, as me and my friend felt rather sick and had allergic reactions every time we turned it on. Lastly, the staff mentioned we could get our water bottles refilled for free with warm and cold water in the restaurant, yet, when we went there, they only refilled it twice before telling us we should buy water from them instead. A water filter in the room would make it a lot better of a stay.
    • There was a hair on the bathtub when we arrived and thru out our stay, it was never cleaned.Breakfast was no big deal and staff was short so clean dishes were lacking and tables left with pilled dirty dishes. There are no glasses or cups in the room neither in the bathroom.
    • Had to wait for one extra hour past the check-in time (2pm) for my room to be ready. The bed is small for a couple to sleep on, also the AC in our room was old and dirty. The room was on the fourth floor and we could hear noises from the city during the night.

The room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the location is great, near downtown

A bit of maintenance would be nice on the bathrooms (painting)

Location is very good, frontdesk staff very nice, good breakfast. Room is big.

room is a bit dated, need renovation.

Great location and staff. The receptionist Eliza was very nice and helpful.

    Breakfast ends very early.

    7JeanPosted on: 4-22-2024

The Staff was very helpful and professional on all occasions. The front desk could converse in English which is a definite bonus. The Hotel has a very good restaurant at very decent prices and the breakfast was great every time. The Hotel is located right in the center of Japan town with all tourist areas a short walking distance away. The area was relatively safe and we felt at ease in the area. The bar fridge was very well stocked.

Our view was not great, but should be expected in the heart of the city. Also opening a window is not recommended as the smells of chimneys of kitchens in the area is not too nice. The elevator was a bit scary but we got used to it.

Wonderful breakfast. Good location only 10 minutes from centre city. There is a coffee shop in the building opposite the hotel with amazing cocktails.

    2LidianePosted on: 10-4-2023

The outside of the building, the reception were nice and staff were friendly.

The room was run down. There were stains on the wall/door, the wall sockets were outdated and did not support the new standard. The worse thing was that there were no doonas or blankets. When we asked for some blankets and extra pillows, the blankets looked old, were super thin and scratchy. They did not have any extra pillows so offered extra blankets instead. Breakfast was average. I did not expect that experience considering the price or rating on the app.

Great location, just meters from many stores and the subway. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful The place is spacious, elegant and comfortable

    Nothing, actually.

    5SiewPosted on: 9-1-2023

The bellboy and floor manager were very helpful. Room and bathroom were spacious.

Only one counter staff could speak English. All the other staff could not even understand English. There was no tour agency around and hotel staff could not provide any related information.

    5ShinitiPosted on: 6-21-2023

location four our purpose. Decent restaurant at location.

The plastic curtain on the half size plastic bathtub. You step on the long curtain during the shower- not good feeling. No three pin power outlet. Very old safe box without proper key so useless. Lot of stain in the black bathroom door. Very thin and not so white towel. Small Tb screen. The worst was the windows that opens to a vent shaft so no view whatsoever.

    8Matheus C.Posted on: 5-13-2023

The staff was very polite and helpful

The Wi-Fi was really bad, slow and unstable. If you need to have meetings constantly you will need a mobile network.

    7SimonPosted on: 4-26-2023

    nice location

wifi dropped in & out a bit and breakfast was fairly standard

    7ClaudioPosted on: 3-30-2023

Good location, close to subway, in the "oriental" neighborhood, polite staff, good coffee shop, large room

Very simple breakfast, lack of more variety of fruits, no yogurt.Booking shows the hotel provides safe box in the room, but not every room has it. You have to ask for it in your reservation. Old hotel that had its heyday a few decades ago but still has its value. Small renovations would be welcome.

    9EnsidiaXPosted on: 3-25-2023

Location and staff. Room is large and clean.

The hotel is dated and needs renovation

    10SarahPosted on: 3-15-2023

The staff, especially the owner Celina san and Makoto san went above and beyond in their service. A very professionally run hotel in São Paulo. Exceptional breakfast, too.

    9FernandaPosted on: 2-25-2023

Great location, staff was really nice and bedroom was confortable

    Floor was stained with footprints

    4MarcosPosted on: 2-13-2023

    regular

Some of the staff are friendly, but some are not. but some are like “whatever”. Specially some a guy that was removing the dishes from the restaurant.but the rooms’ keeper was super friendly.Anyway. they are luck they have a good location and there is no options around, so they treat the customers as they want.

    9CraigPosted on: 12-10-2022

Great location with lots of good restaurants nearby, and less than 10 minutes walk from a metro station. Friendly staff, great breakfast.I would definitely stay there again.

The room was a little dated - this wasn't a problem for comfort, but there was some permanent staining on parts of the bathroom.
