Mercure Sao Paulo Pamplona

Hotel staff was great, very friendly, spoke English and Spanish which helped a lot. Great bed, good location, tasty free breakfast.

The bathroom was outdated, lots of rust, no ventilation fan in the bathroom for shower and steam circulation, bad smell from toilet. Didn't provide any kind of lotion as part of toiletries sets.

- The holy building was under construction - there was no hot water. An Absurd - mold on the bathroom

Noisy as they are refurbishing the front desk access as well as the pool area.Also, they claim to have a king size bed but it is in fact 2 single beds united that do not align the height of the mattress

The size of the room.

The Breakfast (very poor) and the Elevator (small size, one of the elevator is not functioning and the staff of the hotel is using during the check in time.

The location, however, there is a construction site right next door with hammering early in the morning. The hotel is rather small with only two small elevators and one wasn’t working for the 2 days we were there. I requested 2 rooms on the same floor, one 3 beds for my kids and 1 double. They gave me on two separate floors. I was not pleased about this.

The staff could hardly speak English. The breakfast was very basic and staff not very helpful. Nothing like omelettes or fried eggs were offered. My kids were disappointed with the breakfast.

Poor maintenance. air con not working, toilet got clogged, shower mediocre. Poor quality toiletries. Also overpriced small bottles of water in the minibar

Gym is small, rooms not well sound-proofed, low quality breakfast.

Excellent service from the reception staff. Huge room with lots of light and even a small balcony. Well stocked mini bar. The location is ideal, close to pharmacies, bars, restaurants, etc. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

A very pleasant and conveniently located hotel. The room was comfortable, with a really good bed. I very much enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Initially, the WiFi did not work, but the staff helped in solving the problem.

Good location, helpful staff, really good rooms for when on business with large desk and work area. Breakfasts were amazing (daily variety) and balcony with an amazing view was a bonus! Colleague used the pool, while small was good enough to feel like you’d had a swim. All-round excellent value.

Nothing really. It’s on a steep hill but so is most of São Paulo!!! ?

The location. The management gave us chocolate with an excuse note to apology for the the mistakes.

As soon as we entered the room we found a used condom on the floor. They changed us to another room with the exact same configuration but the new room had a clogged drain in the shower. At the end, even Accor decided to not credit us with reward points.

if you’re get used to 4 stars Mercure this hotel doesn’t have any common.Rooms are in very poor and outdated condition.No bathrobe, no slippers, no dental kit. Super glitchy internet, no sound proof rooms.Very poor breakfast, all you have a lot of bread and omelet.

The room set-up -- with the built-in desk behind the bed -- was great for working. Location was perfect for what I needed. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The trash bin in the room was coded for recycling -- nice touch.

I was on the 8th floor and it was noisy. (But, this is São Paulo -- not unexpected!) There were a few parts of the room that were dusty (behind the door).

The bed was okay, the room too. Location is great, really convenient. Staff is the star: friendly, kind, helpful, wonderful Brazilian people as its best!

Breakfast could be better, considering the wonderful Brazilian cuisine. It was below average. My room was not well maintained and there was broken lamp, broken picture on the wall, there is no sound proofing whatsoever and the rooms are super close to the elevator, so you hear everything.

Hotel is centrally located around 700m from Avenida Paulista and the shopping area within Jardins area. Hotel as a decent pool and gym on the rooftop. Nice choice of food with different fruit juices / fruits at the breakfast.

English knowledge at the front desk was not sufficient for an international 4-star hotel in the main economic city of Brazil.

The room was incredible, large and well equiped

the breakfast, not healthy at all, not vegan at all. Coffee wasn t very good, either. The kitchen is very low level, we stayed for dinner once and after 40 minutes we’ ve got a sandwich and a omelette that seemed bought in a chesp bar.

The location is great with short walks to restaurants and cafes. The area is very nice.

The street is noisy and there is no chance for a restless night sleep unless you sleep through anything. A light sleeper would certainly struggle with the very late and very early morning street activity including heavy traffic and construction

Bed was comfortable and big.

Shower / bathroom area could had been cleaner. Operation of switches was totally messed up and confusing.
