A run down shabby kind of a hotel. But the room, while very small ( single), was clean. But they don't give a top sheet which is ridiculous. I had to ask for one and they gave without problem, but I shouldn't have to ask- it is a hotel! Being cheap it was OK for one night. No bugs or critters!

Unfortunately we weren't able to stay at Hotel Joamar.
We arrived late in the evening due to a flight and took a taxi to the hotel. It was up a pedestrianised street which was full of scary-looking people and we were advised by our taxi driver it was probably not safe to get out, therefore searched for accommodation elsewhere. It may well be a fine choice if you only plan to stay at night and not go out in the evening, but I wouldn't advise walking around at night in the area and there is no way a taxi can drop you directly at the door.
