    Pros +

    • Hotel muito bem localizado.
    • Location
    • The breakfast was decent and offered a good variety — the only positive aspect of this hotel. The rooftop view is nice, with a panoramic look over São Paulo, but beyond that, my stay was terrible

    Cons -

    • The noise!!!! There is a huge construction next to the hotel, and they start work with banging and drilling noise starting at 6am!!! So good luck for sleeping. I let the hotel management know and they told me they can’t do anything until Formula 1 is over which was Monday. They absolutely did not do anything to compensate the noise! I know if its not their concern but it is not the consumers concern neither!!! They moved me to another room, after reminding them again, but now there was a banging noose from the next room because of renovation.
    • The hotel is listed as a 5-star property, but in reality it barely meets a 3-star standard. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, my stay was disappointing. I reserved a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, yet upon arrival I was told my reservation was for an accessible/disabled room. Even after showing my confirmation on the booking app, the staff insisted otherwise and were quite confrontational. They informed me they could not accommodate the room I had booked that night and said they would check availability the following day. I made it clear that if they couldn’t provide the correct room, I would expect a refund. I was asked to return at noon the next day to see if the room would be ready. When I returned, I was told the room would be available but was not yet ready. I left my luggage and went to work, and shortly before leaving the hotel I was told I could move rooms immediately. I dropped my luggage in the new room and only returned late in the evening. At first, the room seemed like an “upgrade” — it was on the top floor and had a larger bed than originally booked. Unfortunately, that impression did not last long.At 7:30am, loud construction began directly outside my window. The windows are not soundproof at all, which is unacceptable for a hotel in São Paulo — one of the noisiest cities in the world. To make matters worse, the room was located directly below the gym, so every dropped weight caused loud impacts and even made the room shake. Sleeping or resting there was simply impossible.Eventually, I gave up, packed my luggage, and checked out early — despite having a reservation from Wednesday to Sunday. What made the experience even more frustrating was that no compensation, discount, or partial refund was offered after all the inconvenience and stress.I do not recommend this hotel. It is not a 5-star property, and I would rate it 3 stars at most.
    • The pool on rooftop very small. Location somewhat remote from main tourist areas, but still quiet and peaceful.

Very good breakfast. Friendly staff, with ecological approach (filtered water provided instead of plastic bottles). Nice restaurant with good food and friendly waiters.

The pool on rooftop very small. Location somewhat remote from main tourist areas, but still quiet and peaceful.

The lovely modern spacious room with a balcony

    Nothing to dislike.

    9BrunoPosted on: 10-12-2024

The rooms have been renovated and look great. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Breakfast was great.

The only issue was getting a letter saying we would need to be out of the room for a few hours so they could do some work in the room. I wouldn’t have had an issue with it if I was informed in advance and not get a letter under the door the night before. Some of the staff could do with a smile on their faces too but overall it was an amazing great place to stay.

    Location

We chose this hotel to have a good rest, during check in they could have selected a different room to avoid waking up at 7am on.a Saturday, hotel was not at full capacity. Next door 2 building with heavy equipment noise on a Saturday 7am.

    Location and the staff

Super strong noise of construction. The hotel has to communicate the potential guests before reservations are made.

    8NicholasPosted on: 9-2-2024

This is a really nice hotel with comfortable rooms and in generally a good location.

It is surrounded by building work and I was sold a park view room with a view of a building under construction. The hotel staff kindly gave a discount but it must be frustrating for them when the advertising doesn’t match the product which ultimately could damage the brand. Just have all rooms as city view.

I have been staying at this Mercure for a few years now, every time when I am in SP. The entire staff of the hotel and restaurant are exceptional, but my favorites are Andre from Bahia and Thialgo at the reception desk. They go out of their way to fullfill all guests needs. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable and the little balcony priceless

    6ChiouPosted on: 7-8-2024

    Nice toiletries

No water, tea or coffee in roomNo information in room or on TV about opening hours for gym and breakfast

    8DaniellePosted on: 7-5-2024

Clean and minimalist. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

There is a construction next to the hotel. My room was located exactly with the balcony in front of the construction. At 7am the noise was disturbing.

    Location cleanliness and friendly staff

High in demand so if you need to extend your stay, additional days costs are high

    9TrevorPosted on: 6-23-2024

Hotel was clean, modern and inviting. Breakfast was great.

Would have liked it if they had towels at the pool area, but other than that, the hotel was great.

    8BoazPosted on: 5-22-2024

Very nice hotel. Large room. excellent breakfast. Good minibar. Location is great. Staff is very nice.

Insufficient noise isolation from the outside. Lots of noise from the street and passing airplanes in low altitude.

Nice location and beautiful place, food at the restaurant was super good

Our aircon was leaking so my luggage was completely wet. We’re traveling with 5 luggage’s baby and a dog. We called reception for some guys to help. After 20 min and 2 calls we decided to carry everything ourself coming down to the reception and seeing 6 people standing and doing nothing
