Pros +
- This hotel has character. This hotel ticks all the boxes of an excellent 5* hotel in terms of service, food / restaurant, facilities, staff and their eagerness to walk extra mile for the guest. Yet on top of that there is some unique way this hotel blends into Sao Paulo lifestyle, architecture, climate and everything. I'd be happy to come back.
- Everything was increadible. Having room service 24/7 and best facilities I've ever seen before was life changing to me.
- Excelent and unique experience of a newly built hotel, the staff, the lobby, the details in wood and ceramics, just amazing
Cons -
- Roof top bar was not working during our stays for no particular reason. I think that's a miss for this otherwise excellent place.
- Food was super expensive. Everything cost at least 5x what normally would anywhere. Food is nothing special. regular food 5x the price.
- Maybe a little bit the ratio of the size of the bedroom vs toilette

The entire place is amazing. The suite is spacious and super clean. Nice night life. Great food! Check in with Barbara was excellent!
All in staff is great but by pool side they could be more proactive.
Amazing service, super friendly staff, great restaurants adn bars, the feeling of being in an oasis in the middle of the busy city. The interior decor is a dream.
The hallway to the rooms was a bit too dark.
Nice and clean hotel, perfect room, friendly front desk staff, terrible service at Le Jardin restaurant
Restaurant service at le jerdin was terrible Too busy, too many non guests in lobby and restaurant areas, this is not a boutique hotel
The art and interiorism is truly remarkable, rooms are fantastic. The bar is great and staff is very friendly and willing to provide good recommendations.
It’s very expensive and the breakfast wasn’t good at all. The waiters for breakfast were not properly trained as they did not know how to respond for recommendations.
The building’s history alone is amazing, it was great to return to that same location in Brazil after years and see great improvement and how they kept the original structure while adding some amazing architecture features in the middle of the city. Staff is very friendly and not over the top.
The hotel didn’t feel very pedestrian friendly, to go in and out on foot you have to walk pass right next to a line of cars coming in the valet line driveway since there is no designated sidewalk or path. During peak hours like weekend evenings the car lines can be long from non-guests dining in the hotel amazing restaurants, so we asked to be dropped off outside of the hotel and walk in. This is a city hotel in an classic São Paulo area, being able to access the streets is a huge plus in my personal opinion, but I understand in a high end hotel like this guests may prefer leaving and arriving in a car.
Rosewood might be the best hotel in Brazil. However, its breakfast consistently disappoints. You are at the mercy of the servers actually serving you food. No buffet, so no variety. Bread always came after we were done eating.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, very attentive staff, excellent facilities (the gym, sauna and pool are wonderful)
The size of the room was very small compared to what you pay for, the entrance was difficult to find for Ubers so they frequently got lost, I prefer a buffet style breakfast
Very good hotel. Good staff. Breakfast is good in terms of quality, but the restaurant service leaves a bit to be desired. It seems like there aren’t enough waiters, and the restaurant is always crowded with non-guests, which makes the service slow.
I didn't like the food and beverage prices at the hotel. A Coke costs 25 reais, and a bottle of water is 20 reais. It feels like the prices were simply converted from dollars to reais.
Amazing staffGreat facilities (Gym, Pools)Restaurant and bars were wonderful
There's no other place to stay in Sao Paulo! This is the best hotel. I've been fortunate to have a chance to stay in many hotels around the world but this is so far the best. The quality , the service, the food , the space ! Everything makes this hotel very special. I've stayed there many times and it's always difficult to leave the place. Massive thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday with some brazilian brigadeiros and a beautiful view of the garden! I can't wait to be back. Thanks Rosewood
The only complain is that I couldn't stay longer! Paradise :)
The rosewood is one of my favourite hotel, i was surprised of the artistic design on this hotel which i love. The crystal relax room is my favourite.Pool area is fun to be and they have few private cabana and they offer hookah smoking service which was great. The room overal was great. The breakfast in room service was delicious.
Too many unnecessary standing bodyguards security every corner of the hotel, which make the place look like a cheap casino, and they make the guest uncomfortable.
The breakfast restaurant is nice decorated and the food is delicious. The staff was friendly, but not very attentive
When we went for breakfast at 09.30h there was no space available for us. We had to wait ca. 25 minutes. For hotel guests this is not acceptable!
It has great amenities and ambience, good price and offers you good restaurants. Overall good experience.
The first night I stayed there was a wedding at the church that partied all night, couldn’t sleep well and when I woke up to go have coffee some drunk people from the parties where in the halls yelling. It’s fine, wasn’t an issue but a bit of an annoyance.
This was a return visit to the Rosewood based on our previous experience. Everything about this place ticks all the boxes. Beautiful rooms, great attention to detail, pet friendly, nice restaurants.
There were some renovations going on so the breakfast area looked smaller than last time we visited and we had breakfast in the restaurant rather than in the main lobby area. Our eggs were served cold so we asked for them to be a bit hotter but on second attempt they were also cold. The staff was apologetic but it would have been a very simple thing to get right.
Location.
It’s not a family hotel. Not a Christian place. No bibles. Very spiritual. Missing guitar in the room, had to complaint. Towel holder was not warming up. Hot water took a while to turn on. Power outlets are all 220V so ladies with blow dryer. Felt that staff was favoring a higher class of people since they didn’t address my complaints. Paulo is the manager didn’t address any of the concerns. Complaint took over one hour to reply. You need to have WhatsApp account to communicate or it’s hard to.
Facilities, Architecture and story behind the construction
Woke culture and food(expensive and common)
Luxury and understatement. A calm, green and stylish Oasis in the middle of Sao Paulo‘s concrete Jungle.Would recommend this over any of the more „traditional“ skyscraper based luxury hotels in city.Staff, building, decoration and facilities in general are on pair with the best hotels in the world.
