Kennaway Hotel

Unfortunately I didn't have breakfast but next time I definitely would and also book for a longer stay.

As much as this might be a long shot but maybe an upgrade with a balcony could be an option towards the hotel, I really would've loved to have stood on a balcony and look at the beautiful view that the hotel has ahead of it.

As usual, nice clean room, aircon good and very clean, Rooms are all a nice size as well,

My gripe wherever I stay, no 2 pin plug by the bed, you are not alone in this, only 2 weeks ago I had the same problem. The general noise from the seafront was also a bit annoying but know that you cannot change that. Despite this, its still where I will always book when in East London

The parking area needs attention. Please do not be too economical with the coffee and tea sachets in the rooms. A plug socket in the bed area will make the stay less stressful.

The location is good right at the doorstep of the sea

Insects in the rooms when you switch of the lights the must fumigate the rooms please a d clean the carpets they are so dirty in the rooms. Also during our stay the was no buffet breakfast it was done per request everything we wanted to eat was finished or not available for example we wanted corn flakes one got and we were told they are finished ,we then asked for rice krispies also those were finished the coffee machine had black coffee no milk in it also it was finished . And also breakfast they didn't have plain yogurt only one flavor yogurt available granadila only also fruit salad had canned peach I wasn't impressed at all with the food breakfast

The rooms have carpet it's dirty small insects they need to fumigate the place

They must remind u that the meal is available not included before you eat not aftr meals, we thaught all of R 1170 breakfast was included there then we had to pay 300 unplanned

the only issue with this accomodation - everything else is perfect They need to rid the rooms of the tiny cockroaches - they freaked me out Everything else is amazing Bedding clean - shower great Breakfast great

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean as as per expected pictures. However the only plugs was not next to the bed for cell phone charging - which was not a major problem, just a bit on inconvenience. Overall a lovely stay - will definitely stay there again

I would have liked to have access to a bar fridge to keep some cooldrinks cold over night.

The receptionists were very kind.

My room had a window that didn't close properly. It was a bit cold

I couldn't leave my phone charging unless I was in the room. I should have taken another 2 pronge plug.

All good as usual, clean, everything working. This hotel represents probably the best value in the area for the level of comfort and services

Not over keen on the venetian blinds in the bedroom, they were a little bit tired and if I had planned to sleep in late, they do not cut out the light.

Packing secured but it's place needs maintenance.

The room's view as well as the sounds of the waves at night.The size of the actual room is bigger than many standard hotel rooms these days.About four restaurants just below it make it super convenient.

The breakfast was rather limited but adequate in that it offered the basics but nothing extra-ordinary.

The bedding had a brown stripe on the duvet cover that was really not nice. We did not want to cover ourselves with it. The carpets smelled so bad we bought air freshner at the shop and sprayed the room as well as doom as I was worried something might crawl around at night. The shower was blocked and when you showered water stood above your ankle.The noice was very bad and carried on till early morning hours.The receptionist was very friendly.

The staff should learn to listen for understanding and not to answer. I made a simple request for early check in and was blown out of proportion. The reception staff should learn how to respond to communication sent to the establishment.

Bedroom and bathroom were atleast showing that awesome look.

Aircon was not yet working,it only turns on and ends there,we didn't sleep the whole night due to the noise by the group of guest that were in 1st floor next to our room(112),they were drunk and sang the whole night jumping(actions)on the floor,under the bed the floor was full of dust and condom covers shows that the previous guest used condoms and throwed the cover on the floor.Breakfast was not yet enjoyable due to the flies and the food in the pots were not covered,when eating(on the table)the flies are disturbing and yet we lost the appetite,we reported that to one of the kitchen staff and her response was that they can't do otherwise the candles(for flies) that are glowing there are not working,but that is not the guest's fault.Im so fortunate that I booked 1 night.
