Quarry Lake Inn

What a lovely stay we had! We were very happy with our little family get away at the Quarry lake inn! Thank you for high quality accommodation and lovely breakfast ???We will definitely be back!

A secure and very clean hotel that is well looked after with pleasant gardens and small lake. A good breakfast which was freshly cooked by attentive staff. A convenient stop over for East London airport

It’s positioned far enough away to feel secure from central East London which is not safe unfortunately.

Excellent location close to amenities. Beautifully and modern ,spacious and impeccable rooms . The staff in this hotel is absolutely amazing and friendly .Breakfast is nicely curated and tasty while overlooking a lovely quarry lake, really special

Quiet. Well located. Friendly staff and a lovely clean and comfortable room in a beautiful setting.

The spacious room, the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in room 5 for a week and there’s a young lady who cleaned the room and what an exceptional and dedicated human being!!!! She’s amazing, I hope she gets a raise or a big December bonus or a promotion!!!!

Nothing at all but they could install waterproof carports in the parking areas. That would be awesome, this doesn’t take away the greatness of the place

Excellent service, clean rooms, peaceful and very safe.

Water leaks out of shower in room I booked, that was the only issue. Other than that it's a perfect stay.

Pillows

Stay was very peaceful and very clean, comfortable.

Would like a slightly bigger variety for breakfast.

The location was fantastic for the convenience to school sports and offered great dinning in the area.

The pillows - they need a refurb. It would also be great to have more than 4 milk sachets.

This is our 4th year at staying at this location for Buffalo and we love it, but for the price they need to ensure their offering and service is top notch- the rooms are lovely but there are a lot of other guesthouses that have popped is with better prices for the same service. We felt that they were understaffed this weekend but the manager did resolve issues quickly and when the breakfast on the second day was served timeously and was delicious.

The attention to detail has definitely dropped- there are not enough plug points for charging multiple devices. One plug point not working, no instructions on how to use the TV remote which wasn’t working, none of the amenities provided had been checked before we checked in at 6pm. Breakfast took over an hour either way only 10 people in the dining room - I felt they could have staffed up- no owners present. Please also include low fat options in yoghurt- overall still a great venue but expensive

From the security to the kitchen staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The place is so clean! The food was also delicious, their fruit was fresh, which is never the case at most places.
