ONOMO Hotel Waterfront

Location close to the waterfront, actual canal front cruise boat stop is only a block away and just 1k,m to the V&A waterfront, the prime area of Cape Town. Friendly front desk and good breakfast in a beautiful dining room.

Great location for us, unique and friendly hotel. Some interesting but neat rooms. Restaurant staff was great to us as well.

In this hôtel the staff Say always " YES.".. but they Nevers do nothing !!

Something décent and covered outsider for the smokers.. Smokers are not animal !!

The location: it’s minutes away from the Waterfront which is a vibrant space for culture, restaurants and shopping. It’s also a working dry dock.

Currently there are no chairs in the room.

Very modern with a mix of vintage. Great breakfast included, amazing staff who are helpful with arranging day trips!

Everything was great!

Love the funky decor and canopied chairs in the reception area. Room comfortable and well equipped. About a 15 min walk from the V&A Waterfront, 20 min walk to Bo Kaap so well located.

The dishes we chose one evening in the Hotel restaurent were disappointing.

Location is good , staff were friendly and even offered to change my room to cabin to queen room . I had booked cabin without realizing it .

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to V&A waterfront. We had a very special anniversary. We will be back.

Staff were good, accommodating. lncluded breakfast was good well. Received late check out and luggage storage.

Room was large but no closet to hang clothes. I personally do not like the sink in the main room. View of the roof air conditioning units.

Clean room, white linen, central location, value for money.

Room did not have a window, felt like inside cabin of a cruise ship. Extractor fan did not work in bathroom, loose toilet seat and bed base damaged on the sides. Mostly small things that can be fixed to make the experience better.

There was no closet to hang our clothes. We had just gotten off a cruise ship and needed to sort things out before leaving for our safari. The electrical system required an adapter which we had to purchase in the city to use our American appliances

The room was poorly designed with no fridge and nowhere to hang/store your clothes. The room was above the hotel's bar/restaurant area and was very noisy till late at night.

Rooms are too small. There was no possibility of keeping clothes well. No cupboard was available.Communication was only through WhatsApp.Toilet and Bathroom were well below expectation in terms of size and amenities.No minibar service. Room too small

Great location: near V&A, only a few minutes walking. Staff very kind, with high energy and supportive. The room was big, comfortable, and well equipped, making it a great place to relax.

The breakfast room was a little bit small, not being able to accommodate all guests specially in high peak hours. Also, in some days, the croissant was a bit stale and not crispy. It seems to be not very fresh. One small point of improvement in the room would be the shower box, as it was not very well enclosed and caused some water to leak out onto the bathroom floor

I had no complaints at all. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the location was excellent — within good proximity to the V&A Waterfront and the CBD.

Honestly, nothing to complain about. My stay was comfortable and met all expectations.

The staff was brilliant! (Special shout-out to the manager, Mymoena.) After a very unpleasant experience they went out their way to make sure that our stay at ONOMO was still memorable.The breakfast was fantastic and delicious.

The rooms are not soundproof. If one is sound-sensitive, this hotel is not for you.There is no direct line (telephone) to reception from the rooms. Only Whats App or in person.No parking at or close to the hotel. Only street parking (if available) or 2 car parks approx 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Car park/s for own (extra) expense.
