City Lodge Hotel V&A Waterfront

Checked all the boxes for a very reasonable price. Good room, bed, staff, breakfast, restaurant. On the edge of the V&A district but only a 15 minute walk to the main amenities.

Closeness to the V&A Waterfront.

There were no bar or lounge facilities due to them being refurbished. Once this is complete I'm sure the hotel will be much better.

I booked together with a group of friends but I was allocated a room underground level! Upon asking the reason why my friends were all on upper floors, I was told something about booking categories! Day2 the carpet got flooded with water from the bathroom

That there was no bottled water in the rooms. Since tap water is no longer safe to drink, I was disappointed to not find any bottled water in the room and I had to take medication.

I really liked the overall set up and “go green” policies. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. A good parking area too. Marco and Thaamir were great!

Breakfast has everything that you would need. Perfect location for quick access to Waterfront, Stadium and City Centre

Still busy with construction

Did not eat breakfast, with construction taking place it was a bit to crowded.

Loved the stay but the construction was a bit disturbing. But cannot wait for the final look and facilities.

It's a shame that maintenance wasting place during my stay, no pool or gym facilities but understandable

Location, cleanliness and staff was amazing. There is also private parking.

Unfortunately the renovation was not finished yet. We could not use the gym or the pool. However, the hotel made a lot of effort trying not to disturb guests in their works.

Building is still ongoing and disruptive. I have stayed at this hotel many times before but this time it was not the greatest experience mainly due to noisy building contractors in the car park outside our room
