Southern Sun Waterfront Cape Town

Location was great.Breakfast was delicious.

Too pricy for what you get.Tiny rooms with an aircon that does not really work.Not enough sun loungers at the pool.Staff should be trained in customer service, as many were rude and not friendly at all.

The breakfast was very good and the location was good.

The room was way too small, my bed was almost touching the desk. The bathroom was smallish as well. The gym was also small.

The property is close to the V&A and there’s a bridge to take you there from the hotel.

The hotel is very transactional. Check in was so detached and no info on facilities and other hotel info. The hotel has a small gym so if you like working out, it’s not ideal.

Was quite happy, all our choices/preferences were available

The service was absolutely amazing.. the staff was super friendly !! Truly just fantastic..

The breakfast really didn’t cater much halal , just beef sausage no other solids halal but a variety of unhalaal.

A very warm welcome by Mr Joden at the reception and also made it so special for our kids by giving them gifts. The lady at the kids entertainment area she's so good patient and good hearted person. The kids liked her alot and the activities she did with them was amazing thank you sister. We also liked our breakfast it was nicely served. Thank you ?

The cleaners kept forgetting to take out the refuge bin. The pool was cold maybe try to invest in heated pool. For family rooms also try to invest in private bedrooms.Thanks you ?

The location was perfect, great amenities as well. The staff was amazing especially at breakfast, the Manager and his staff. Big ups to them

It was neat, nice staff, always available to assist. Liked the fact that there were free shuttles to the waterfront everyday

Within walking distance to the V&A waterfront, and the hotel also provides shuttle service there. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and beds were comfy.

A bit tricky to regulate room temperature, and the fan was a bit noisy. Ended up opening the window.

Bathroom amenities...limited.....water overflows....there technical person came late.

The breakfast was exceptional . There were many choices including omelets, meats, cereals, pastries, yougurt, fruit and more. The breakfast room was inviting, roomy, and well staffed. The location for us was perfect. The shuttle bus to the V&A waterfront ran promptly as scheduled. This was a huge help in planning our day.

Great location with a few coffee shops nearby. Well managed hotel and loved their breakfast and staff was very helpful as well. Their free shuttle service to V&A waterfront was very helpful if you are a tourist.

Only location was good

Unfortunately No extra bed my kids slept on the floor although I have requested and they confirm I have booked the Excutive room The buffet breakfast was poor quality
