Cape Town Hollow Boutique Hotel CBD

A wonderful return visit, comfortable and met all my needs (wifi was just a little slow and erratic for doing business). Breakfast was more than adequate, good coffee, thank you.Staff were friendly and helpful (recognised me on arrival from my previous visit) made me feel very welcome.

The location of electrical outlets/adapters. In some rooms it makes it hard the dry your hair near a mirror or the outlets located in an awkward corner.

The location is very good, quiet, opposite a national museum, walking distance to a major street with most of the things including the sighting bus.Breakfast just ok. I had to ask for extra veggies which they were happy to provide. Friendly staff, hardly see housekeeping staff and when you do they were friendly too.

1. They indicated they have a shuttle to V&A, i even received an email to confirm that, but it was not available and they did not make any arrangements.2. Maybe increase the variety in the lunch/dinner menu.

Great location, walking distance from Long Street with plenty of restaurants. Despite not having parking on-site, the parking at 15 on Orange can be used and is only a few meters from the hotel. Spacious, comfortable room. Great value for money.

Very nice room in a terrific location with a view of Table Mountain. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful.

Staff were wonderful, service orinted and exceptionally helpful. Good location

Rooms on the 8th floor was noisy, with a constant hum in the background. I asked to be moved for the next night and an old air conditioner sticking out of the buiding rattled all night. So all in all not great for noise.

Cleanliness could have been better. Generally its a relatively basic hotel.

The property and service was great. Friendly stuff that made us free amd comfortable. They have nice breakfast and reasonable dinner prices.

Spectacular location with close views of Table Mountain, right opposite museum, art gallery and parklands. Supermarket short walk. Parking close. Minor issues in room, changed rooms due to air con and tv not working, replacement room was good. Breakfast was adequate.

Restaurant menu and opening times were limited. Consequently nit much used and no atmosphere in the evenings.

Staff were for accommodating friendly and very helpful. Hotel was above average. The bar attached to the hotel had good quality food. Great chicken wings burgers steak and cold beer. The breakfast offered in the morning was buffet style with lots options fruit yogurt cereals hot food. We left early the morning for the cruise ship and the staff even packed us both a breakfast to go at no charge because the breakfast wasn’t open yet. Very nice touch. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

staff was hospitable, rooms clean, comfortable bed, clean bedding, clean towels & warming rails, toiletry provided, gowns & sleepers provided, cool rooms, iron & ironing board pro-actively provided, strong wi-fi. Reception was very helpful when phoned. Although we did not have time to swim, but there is a swimming pool on the ground floor. Breakfast was a cherry on top of the cake, great variety. Their coffee was the best, I had three cups. So much variety of fruits! We really enjoyed breakfast. parking is provided for at adjacent hotel, very safe and there is 24-hour security there, we also had dinner there as their restaurant was closing much later. The Hollow boutique hotel is 1 minute walk to the Iziko Museum, less than 5minute walk to the well-known St Georges Cathedral where Archbishop Desmond Tutu led marches to stop apartheid & where he was buried. Hotel generally at the Centre of it all, with easy access to many restaurants and shops, and historic sites.

We were advised to order dinner before 20h30 latest, as the kitchen closes at 20h30, and the restaurant closes at 22h00. I would advise for the kitchen to be closed later during holiday time, and for the restaurant to close at 23h00. People usually stay till late during holidays. Otherwise, the rest was good.

The location is perfect! Beautiful views of the mountains and the park across from the hotel is a true delight to visit. Within 5 minutes you are on Long Street, but you are just far enough away to avoid the busyness.

The only thing we had a small problem with was the bed, which was quite hard.

It is anice little hotel 1 block off the main street. It is a quick walk to shopping and many restaurants.. each floor of the hotel only had 7 rooms and there is 8 floors...! They do a nice cooked breakfast and the staff are very helpful.one side of the hotel faces table mountain and it is a nice view. The rooms are spacious and there is a nice walk-in rain shower in the room.

Along with the nice view, there is a bit of street noise early in the morning, so you will have a tough time sleeping in...
