We really liked the bar available and the helpfulness of the staff, we were directed to the local mall and the nearby light house where we had a fun and romantic time. We will love to return again soon!

Had an amazing time there. The location is really good and people always gather around at the bar to have a great time, share experiences and have fun. The staff is also great! Felt like home. Can’t wait to come back!

The private room was a bit small and too close to the barThere was a school group taking up a lot of space but it was only a minor issue

I was not comfortable sharing my Dom with males that's the only thing that would make me not to recommend it for someone..But the rest was okay

What a wonderful stay!A perfect, no-fuss location to rest and relax. It’s close to the promenade for long, intentional walks and easy downtime at the beach. The establishment is clean, spacious, and most importantly, safe. The staff are incredible, friendly, attentive, and accommodating.The large, well-equipped kitchen with ample seating created a welcoming space for meaningful conversations with staff and other guests. As my stay was short, the staff generously shared groceries, which made short-term meal preparation easy. There’s plenty of cupboard and fridge space, so I know that on my next visit, I’ll be able to do a full grocery shop and store everything comfortably.The lounge area is perfect for reading or watching TV, and the pool is a true delight, especially compared to the small plunge pools at other establishments. The funny and fruitful conversations with staff and guests around the braai and bar area made my stay even more memorable.I’ll definitely be back!

Proximity to the waterfront

Sydney was very rude and disrespectful towards me even though I’d stayed at the property multiple times.

Location is great. Easy to find and near a lot of places to eat, shop and see.

Staff was really friendly and helpful. Meet many great travelers here. The 'Bring you Meat'for Braai on Saturdays are a nice way to experience Braai and meet people at the hostel. The location is prime for walking to a grocery store, going for a run, and walking to the mall area. The beds were descent and the bar was nice.

The location was great, I felt safe and the building was secure. The room was a good size and had its own bathroom, I would stay here again

The staff is really helpful and attentive. Maybe because of that the hostel also attracts many kind guests

The doors are quite noisy to open and close. So if you are sleeping, you may wake up because of people entering the shared room

Loved this place. I extended for an entire week, is an awesome spot to chill with a great vibe, good proximity to great restaurants and other attractions. Very clean with very attentive and kind staff, Def stay here for a good time.

Friendly staff combined with a welcoming atmosphere made for a good holiday stay. Thank you Sunflower stop team! I enjoy the Saturday social braai night idea and the layout of the hostel. I stayed with a family member in a private room , it was clean, comfortable and the basics of a fan and some hanging spaces made it comfortable.

Comfy beds, great staff, definitely give it a go.Supermarkets are near by, very nice kitchen, the bar is always a good place to meet others.

We stayed in the double af the front. This does experience some road noise, but we managed to mask this with the use of the ceiling fan, which only had 2 settings off and basically turbo.Staff, especially the guy on reception, was friendly and helpful.Worth noting that the hostel has its own bar, so no point like us turning up with bottles of wine from your wine tasting trip as you will not be allowed to drink them.Bed was comfortable Wifi was goodFree coffee 7-10am and big kitchen available for all your self catering needs.Didn't use the pool.Didn't experience any load shedding during our stay.

Location was excellent. Stay there for the Argus. Parked our vehicle Friday and left Monday morning early.The Saturday "braai" was kwaai. We all did enjoy
