    Pros +

    • The staff was friendly
    • On a nice day the view is beautiful. The staff is also great!!!
    • The views are outstanding, I incredibly clean and the staff are magnificent who can’t do enough for you. Especially Sven, he is amazing, going above and beyond in all aspects of our stay.

    Cons -

    • This hotel is a total scam. It is ridiculously over priced and full of lies on their website. There are no drivers as stated online to “drive you anywhere you want to go.” The pools are not heated so you can only look at them. Another lie online. The tour company they sell to you is also a huge scam, over priced and don’t deliver a proper tour. Worst vacation ever. This is in no way a five star hotel. You are also totally locked into the building at night with no one at the front desk which is a fire hazard. Most expensive and worst trip ever. Totally ruined Cape Town for us.
    • The whole reason we chose this spot is because of the heated pools. After we saw it online we called to make sure the pools are heated and will be when we’re there… it turns out they are heated by the sun so if there’s no sun they’re not heated. Which means they’re not really heated pools. It’s false advertising. Our room was also really small and the wind was so bad it kept opening our door. The food was also very average at times, we couldn’t even eat the ribeye bc it wasn’t cooked properly.
    • Only downside was how far up the hill it was but that also gave us the best sunset view so we didn't mind & there is a gorgeous trail walk down to the coast.

Sven has been very helpful and accommodating. Had some good conversations with him and he provided world class service. The beds were good, same goes for breakfast and the views are spectacular. I also enjoyed the walk down and up to camps bay.

We loved everything about our stay at this boutique hotel. The views are exceptional as was the service and attentiveness of all the staff. We stayed for 4 wonderful days. Each day we were welcomed with a fabulous breakfast served with a smile by the wonderful staff. Evenings we admired the sunset views from the terrace of the suite with complimentary wine and snacks provided by our hosts. We were blown away with the views, service and high standards of this beautiful hotel. They provided a surpise of Sparkling Wine, chocolates and gifts a fantastic way to start our friends birthday celebrations. We were lucky to have secured bookings at some of Cape Towns most highly regarded restaurants, so we only managed a light snack one evening, however the quality was superb! Location for us was 10/10 if you want 5* Views and Service this is the place to be. Thank you to all of the team .

Stunning location, professional & extremely friendly staff. Had the best fillet steak dinner. Amazing chef. Delicious breakfast. The.complimentary glass of wine in the evening was such a nice touch watching the sunset.

Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Room was wonderful and staff made everything the best ever stay. Helped in booking meals and experiences.Given lovely gifts when we left as a memory of a magical stay

    10ManuelaPosted on: 2-10-2025

Spectacular views of Camps Bay, The Lion’s Head & 12 Apostles mountains behind

    8HuwPosted on: 2-5-2025

Superb setting with stunning views - well appointed rooms and lovely staff - particularly Sven on front desk and bar and his colleague Clinton - they were a credit to the hotel - the rest of the staff were all lovely - the two hour complimentary bar from 19.00 was well supported and meant we got to know the other guests over a nice glass of wine or two - very convivial

Only disappointing issue was to be notified 3 days before leaving Uk that there had apparently been a mix up over our booking with the hotel interface and Booking.com - which meant that they could not accommodate us for the whole of our stay and that we would have to curtail our stay at the hotel from 5 to 3 nights .Initially handled well by owner Greg who managed to find us alternative accommodation at South Beach Hotel in Camps Bay - which we can also highly recommend. Greg also arranged a free transfer from the airport and a bottle of bubbly on arrival which were very much appreciated.Nevertheless I would have thought that Greg would have made the effort to have spoken directly with us on arrival or indeed at any point during our stay - this was very disappointing considering the inconvenience we experienced and effectively the loss of a day through having to move hotels half way through our stay in Cape Town

Amazing boutique hotel in Camps Bay with wonderful staff. Loved the views, in-room breakfast and awesome pools. Will definitely be back.

Amazing location with views of Camps Bay , Lions Head & Table Mountain lots of dining options available in Camps Bay and Cape Town

Few options to eat / drink outside which is definitely a preference in the summer months

    9CarolPosted on: 11-30-2024

Beautiful ocean views of Camps Bay and the negative edge pool. Our room was upgraded to a suite with living room, dining area and partial kitchen.

It was a bit too far of a walk to downtown and there really isn't much to do right around the hotel.

    10StevePosted on: 11-29-2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Staff were so friendly, helpful and passionate about their business.

Attention to detail, cleanliness and determination to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

    10YanivPosted on: 11-28-2024

Property itself was stunning sitting atop Camps Bay with clear views of the ocean, lions head and table mountain. However, the best part of our stay was the staff and attention to detail. The hotel manager Sven as well as the other staff members were extremely professional, kind, and regularly checked in to see if we had everything we need. The breakfast, dinner, and canapés were delicious, and the pool area was very relaxing. We were always looking forward to happy hour where we drank delicious local wines before dinner. I strongly recommend to stay here if you’re looking for elite personalized services in a beautiful, safe and convenient location in Cape Town.

Nothing - was fabulous all around. Was an ideal stay.

    9FrancescaPosted on: 11-16-2024

The view and location of the property was fantastic. We were less than 10 minutes drive from table mountain, and could walk down to camps bay also. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had lots of amenities that made it very homely. We had a lovely welcome note, along with some wine which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was vast! But very nice.

The pool was a little cold to use while we were there, and there was some work ongoing outside too so it wasn't fully private.

    10CarlPosted on: 11-10-2024

Great location (a drive from the Camps Bay beachfront, but easy access by car or Uber and amazing views over the bay). We got an upgrade to the Infinity Suite, which was just amazing. Fantastic rooms with a pool and loungers on the balcony right outside our door. Beautiful breakfast brought to the room. Complimentary wine and canapés in the bar area. Fabulous place and great staff. Very highly recommended.

    Nothing. Loved it all!
