Staff and cleanliness

You could not order a meal

Staff was inflexible on the 10am checkout (and in most hotels it's at 11am), and at 10am they were knocking at my door to ask if I was extending my stay - really made me feel like a squatter

Nice comfortable rooms. Reasonable location. Ideal as a base to explore Cape Town

Long St just around the corner isn't great location.

My room did not look like photos. Poor communication related to check-in. I don’t think Mr. Fourie is a real person, because I requested his contact info and the staff refused to provide it. Perhaps he can explain why that is. It is not a good sign when a hotel refuses to provide contact info for management. Elevator did not stop on my floor, which was annoying. 10am checkout is inconvenient. I had to chase the cleaning crew every day to replenish my coffee. The ceiling fan was difficult to operate, and sometimes the AC would stop working at night.

It’s unclean. I could only sleep one night and I left to a friend’s. Bed had some hair, shower had hairs on the floor, walls had white stains and toilet was unclean when I arrived as there seems to be a drainage issue where after flushing it come back up so I had other peoples dirt in the toilet the whole time

Great location, polite staff, nice design

Booked the place three times, last one in a 24m2 studio, however I was given a tiny room. Staff told me it was on booking, and for the hotel, the studio status depends on the floor, not on the room size

Location and the breakfast

I ended up prolonging my stay and I requested to change to a better room due to noise coming from the surronding rooms but it wasn't accepted by the receptionist despite of staying there for two long weeks. And both the Day Receptionist (Amanda) and the evening guy that wears glasses and bold head security lady are disrespectful.

Gym facility

The security constant asking to show them my room card as a proof that I was staying at the hotel, despite that going out every day and they opening the glass door to allow me to exit the premises, and on my way back asking for it even though knowing that I'm staying there.

The room I occupied was cute and comfortable and neat. The staffs were ready to help.

the breakfast was awsome, i liked the habitat breakfast. The location is perfect. just next to absa bank where you can withdraw your money.

Please improve the gym. Build a modern pool and a pool. My room didnt have a table for the economy please include it next time.

The Habitat Aparthotel truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless and incredibly well-equipped with every amenity imaginable for a comfortable, self-catering stay. Its location in the bustling CBD is excellent, offering convenient access to local attractions and transport links.

It didn’t have a blender. It’s important specially on this days were a lot of people consume a lot of shakes/smoothies.

Couldn’t ask for a more central hotel! Beautiful style, super clean and very friendly staff. Wish I could stay longer! Very good price for such a wonderful hotel!

I had a great experience! The location is perfect, easy to access and getting in and out with Uber was quick and hassle-free. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I really appreciated the secure luggage storage facility. I left my bags there for a while, and everything was perfectly safe when I returned. Highly recommend!

A few things could be better. There's a phone in the room with instructions to call reception for emergencies, but no one picked up when I called. Definitely concerning if something serious happened. Noise travels easily, so knocks from other guests and corridor sounds can wake you up (Which they did). Also, important info like checkout times and the rooftop view wasn’t shared upfront; I only noticed them when leaving. Needs some tweaks, but still manageable.
