Cons -
- Restaurant does not open on Sunday evenings
- Apartment could do with more modern furnishingsThe main bathroom is very small with very little hanging spaceThe outside area could do with some umbrellas and trees to provide more shade
- One of the showers didn't run hot, it's listed as having a private pool which it doesnt (it's shared amongst the other flats) and one of the toilets had a strong smell (needs a good deep clean).

Lovely wine estate with stunning views.Short drive into town.
The restaurant was closed on the night we were there - so worth checking beforehand if you plan on dining there in there evenings.
The view is amazing! The cottage clean and comfy beds. Everything was wonderful. Super friendly staff at the reception, helpful and joyful. I would highly recommend this place.
Beautiful mountain and farm views. Modern decor and comfortable beds. Apartment had everything we needed. Restaurant is beautiful and food was exceptional.
It has great views in a quiet area.
The staff were so nonchalant, when we were checking in at night they couldn’t even escort us, let alone give us proper directions to the cottages. That time I was traveling with pensioners. When we were leaving our luggages again their communication was as if they were the clients. Just pointing and not even offering to carry even one light carry-on, to even have us leave our luggage on the corridors. Lastly, the showers and bathroom doors need an update.
Best bed ever - very comfortable and cute rooms with two bathrooms. Great for a family. The pool was nice and easy access. Close to Stellenbosch Downtown (by car).
The breakfast was too expensive for what it was. Was hard to get a coffee and cappuccino only against surcharge. Should be included. Also not enough tables, plates, cups. Unfortunately there was loadshedding too. Good was that at least one light/plug worked.
Great location and set in beautiful vineyard and olive trees. Spacious grounds and the cottage had comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Small pool for cooling but too small for a swim (5m length). Plenty of parking onsite and a great location for exploring vineyards of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek.
The cottage lounge and dining area is quite cramped. As long as you are not spending a lot of time relaxing indoors it is okay. There is a nice large balcony. I thought the pool could have been bigger?
Fantastic location and view, nice pools
Outdated cottages, not well trained staff in restaurant, bad breakfast. Little choice, smoothie was off, hair in the Joghurt, Cappuccino you pay extra (breakfast is 220.-ZAR!!), only toast, no real juice.
The location, views and staff were exceptional. Very comfortable, clean and well serviced. Lunch options were great and of high quality.
The breakfast details- croissants cut in half so were dry and hot items (eggs) not always replenished fast enough-considering the price?
Beautiful setting. Stylish property. Very friendly and efficient staff.
Nothing to dislike.
Beautiful hotel we loved it. Views were great and we loved being able to walk down to the lake and watch the animals. Great breakfasts much variety. Very friendly staff. Lovely pool too.
Fantastic views, beautiful property excellent staff.
Very quiet area not too far out of town and an easy drive. Pool was welcome in the heat of Summer. Our cottage was nice and spacious. Breakfast is very good.
The cottages were set on large grounds so there was no noise from adjoining hotels/buildings. The room had air conditioning
The apartment was very uncomfortable fur 4 adults- it had an upstairs mezzanine with small single beds not big enough fur adults. There was no soundproofing between upstairs and downstairs so all noise could be heard when in the room underneath. All the rooms and areas were very poorly designed which made everything dysfunctional and made the stay uncomfortable, unpleasant and frustrating. Nobody could sleep well, due to noise, heat, uncomfortable beds , light coming from outside, and many other small details. The main hotel may be nice, but these independent cottages away from the main hotel are not nice at all- complete waste of money and ruined what should’ve been a unique experience in a beautiful part of the Cape. Location: Also with noting the traffic in the area is very heavy and trying to cross over from this location towards stellenbosch and Franshoek takes up a lot of time
The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and I had the pleasure of staying in the Presidential Suite. However, the biggest issue was the amount of light coming in at night through the two doors leading to the hallway, making the room not dark enough for a restful sleep.
Housekeeping was disappointing. Our verandahs were not cleaned, and the floor was still dirty from the previous guests. Additionally, housekeeping did not remove the dirty glasses from our room—we eventually had to place them in the hallway for them to be taken away. The bar staff could benefit from better training. They need to be more attentive and proactive in assisting guests. There’s a great opportunity to increase revenue if they occasionally check in to offer more drinks, rather than guests having to request service every time. Given the price paid, we expected a higher level of service.
The personal was really nice, kind and helpful. The cottage was clean, spacious and relaxing. We had a wonderful time!
Clean, comfortable, amazing views, great Braai area
The parking lot and the sun shades actually disturb the view
Stunning location and great outlook. Cottages spacious with a small pool close by, handy for children. Staff were helpful and friendly. Shuttle was available to help with transport.
Location of cottages is a potential problem if no private car available as the walk to the main hotel is not easy for small children or persons with mobility problems. Considering these are self catering cottages the kitchen equipment is basic.
