It was clean! Nice view!

The night manager add a phone charge to my bill after she agreed to pay for it without permission. I feel this type of under hand behavior is unacceptable. It all started when my luggage was lost.

Restaurants and bars were great. The staff was extremely customer focused. Location was good

The pool area was lacking a lot!!! Very inadequate. The staff there was slow and inconsistent. It was a useless area-- and the pool area not kept up I like the room, but no place to put anything- limited cabinet space

The hotel rooms are a bit funky with the bed and shower in the middle of the room.

The quality of breakfast was a litle bit low. Also I was asked to pay for additional guest. Normally as a Platinum, I am allowed to bring a guest.

Being on the 8th floor, the view of Table Mountain and Table Bay was worth it!

The shower was tempemental and so we could not have a proper shower while there as it would either be too hot or too cold. Ruined our stay.

We weee offered breakfast to takeaway due to early checkout. The check in agent was very helpful. Bed comfy and a fridge in room was a nice touch. Close to shopping mall and canal.

Staff services from porters to house keeping very welcoming and lovely leave away reception with charming n welcoming faces

It was overpriced, yet they didn't include basics like bath robes or dental kits. The shower doesn't have a door. Water is spilling back in the room.

Proximity with shopping center, city center and other places for leisure...

Restaurants had little choice in terms of menu...no fish...

I love the nice smell of the hotel and the friendly staff.

They took away the pink lights that use to be in the room and the centre bath and shower with the nice lights are gone.The pink lights was what made it my favourite hotel and now it's gone.Very sad.Should really consider bringing that back.

The room was clean, location was good. There was nothing else good.

Staff, staff, staff.. It took forever to Checking in, same when I check out.Elevators didnt work in one morning, I had to use steps. Electricity Problems, I woke up three times during one night because the lights suddenly were on due to an electrical problem. I will never prefer this hotel again.

Location. Most staff members were amazing. We felt like it was home away from home.

We were there for about a week, sometimes you just want to stay in the room. When the TV was not working for 2 days, it was annoying and it would have been nice to be updated frequently. I also did not appreciate when house keeping knocked on the door, I was sleeping and so my response was latent, she just opened the door and stepped in. I felt my privacy was invaded. Another thing, I personally would appreciate more food options during breakfast.

Breakfast buffet was a little bland with exactly the same offerings every day. Expected better from a MarriotA false fire alarm went off on two nights of our three night stay - well after midnight and completely disrupted our sleep. There was no explanation or apology from the hotel staff. Very disappointing

It was clean. Breakfast was Good. The restaurant The Hussar Grill was excellent.Daniel at reception was very helpful. The lady that booked us in on 11th Jan was not very helpful and not friendly. We chose Marriott because we thought that paying more we would have a more pleasant stay for 7 nights.

The Staff working in the morning was unprofessional. Each morning for 7 days we had to get our own cutlery or ask for it. The first 3 days was good after that the complete opposite. Some of the staff are not trained properly. We had to change rooms from Room 105 after 1 night due to noise in the pipes from shower and basin and the view was not pleasing. They changed us to room 624 which was smaller but much better view and no noise. The first 3 days the cleaning was done perfectly then from the 4th day they forgot water, tea, towels and sugar. So we had to remind them every day. Overall the Hotel is good just that some staff is not professional.

Location: big mall nearby with a connecting bridge directly from the hotel. Good food. Great breakfast. Great view from the room.Weather was great.

I forgot SA had a different power outlet type. I coul not find a converter.
