Facilities are lovely, pool area in particular is brilliant. Room was comfy and clean. Staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was great and the overall stay was great. Would really recommend. Great value for money and excellent location - slightly off the beaten track, but actually nice as you're out of the business of Kloof St, but still within walking distance. Also really easy walking distance for Table Mountain too. Great all round place to stay!

    Nothing really to add here!!

We appreciated the perfect location coupled with the nice surrounding. Lovely and warm team, always keen to help - Thanks Julia fue your warm welcome and pertinent recommendations! Breakfast was delicious, served in a fantastic setting. Nice restaurants around, safe neighborhood… we will be back.

Fabulous location with ample off street gated parking. The staff were super welcoming and the place oozes understated loveliness.

Very nice friendly welcome and polite / helpfull staff throughout the whole stay. We appreciated we could enter our room earlier than official checkin time.Beautiful house and gardens.Very good quality breakfast. We wished we could have enjoyed the breakfast even more, but unfortunately we had a very early flight.Spacious room, with good light isolation from the windows / outside.Nice gin tonic made by the staff to enjoy around the pool in the sun.

The transfer to the guesthouse was quite expensive, while it was just a standard (small) car, where we were all jammed on the back seat and one of the suitcases had to be put next to the driver seat as the car was too small for 3 suitcases. The driver was wearing a sleeveless basketball shirt. Arriving at the guesthouse it was not possible to pay the driver by card. After our stay we decided to book a big Uber van to the airport and it was 1/3 of the price as compared to the small car arranged by the guesthouse....It is not very well noise isolated from other rooms. The wooden floors and the thin walls make you hear the neighbours quite a lot. Also late arrivals or early departures were waking us up as they went through the hallway to the reception. The light in the hallway is on the whole night, and this light enters the room from underneith and the sides of the door. The pool water was very cold.

The building is beautiful, very well located, and our room was perfect. It was big, very clean, and with great views and amenities. Breakfast was also very good. Staff nice. Overall very happy.

It is a beautiful large house subdivided into rooms that forms a luxurious hotel/guest house.

    9RobinPosted on: 2-20-2025

Beautiful property with modern interiors, lush gardens, great pool terrace, amazing location and handy off-street parking. Really good breakfast options. Incredible views!

My only minor critique would be that the rooms aren’t entirely soundproofed. Noise carries both through the walls and between the floors. Hotel staff start kitchen preparations very early in the morning and the noise and talking does carry, at least on the ground level

It looks exactly like the picture, if not better! Excellent all around in every area, staff, pool area, rooms, clean and in a safe area close to everything!

    Nothing!

We were on our honeymoon and the staff made us feel like we are at home! The level of hospitality in this hotel is by far the best I have seen. The breakfast was just amazing. The location was close by to most of the places that we went too by I guess in all cape town you need a car regardless. The neighborhood was safe and quite and at night

That my stay was only for 4 days

Great place to stay, beautiful views and short walk to town. The whole team work hard to make you welcome. Lovely pool area. Super breakfast.

Elegant and cosy boutique hotel in the peaceful Garden area of Cape Town. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms, with our room having a balcony overlooking the city. Super friendly staff, always there to help, guide and make reservations. Terrace and pool has sunshine throughout the day, perfect for enjoying the simple but great breakfast in the morning, and relaxing after a long day of touring in the afternoon. The hotel is perfectly located, quiet neighbourhood, easy to go to either the city centre, beaches or winelands.

    There's nothing I didn't like.

A beautiful renovated house located in Gardens. A 10 min walk to Kloof St where there’s lots of restaurants and bars. Staff were very attentive and entire property was very clean. Lovely pool area, plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. High level of security with coded gates and security staff on site.

Our room, a superior king room, was located in bedroom no 1 which was directly next to the door. We could often hear guests come and go which was a little bit disturbing at times.

Beautifully appointed boutique hotel in the lovely and peaceful Gardens surburb - away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre but only a short srive. Brilliant, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and a really great place to stay in cape town - we will be back!

    8SandyPosted on: 1-9-2025

We loved the hotel building and its location. Rooms were spacious and well appointed with nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Staff were helpful and organised restaurant bookings, transfers etc.

Very small pool area so not enough sunbeds for everyone. We didn’t go in the pool itself as the water looked cloudy. It would have been nice to get food at the hotel other than breakfast.
