    Pros +

    • The restaurant staff was outstanding every day when we went for breakfast. They were very attentive. 5-stars for the restaurant. The room was also nice with the balcony. The bathroom was bright so you can see to put on makeup. Need more plugs though.
    • Great location and friendly staff.
    • Staff coped with sudden influx (40 odd) of guests and me and in a multi tasking way, did registration and allocation very competently between my interests and the 'competition'.

    Cons -

    • The only negative was the spa. When I was about to lie down, there were lipstick stains on the linens where I would have put my face for the massage. They changed the linens when I asked, but it was pretty GROSS and unhygienic! I do NOT recommend the spa.
    • Our shower door didn?t seal properly and leaked all over the bathroom floor when we showered.
    • Nothing at all disliked.

Location, staff very helpful, breakfast was fantastic, was recommended by a friend who's been there 7 times.

Excellent customer service from beginning to end. They will do late checkouts after 12p for a small fee depending on duration, which was worth it to us. The location is excellent for a 1st time visitor to Cape Town. Safe and secure. Included breakfast.

Only issue we had was on our late checkout when we returned to the hotel the concierge had forgotten to extend our room door key time. Minor issue and was corrected easily.

Very relaxing despite being next to the V&A Waterfront. Lots of. Special touches, eg bed turn down and chocolate on pillow.

The level of service was amazing. Special thanks to hotel employee  the travel desk, when we received an email at 8 am that our Robben Island tour had been cancelled, she managed to rebook and Suggested how to spend the day. Other staff was equally friendly.

No. Totally met our expectations. A great base for our first visit to Capetown.

Beautiful suites and decor. Very short walk to shopping and restaurants.

Room was big and clean. Staff decorated nicely for honeymoon and were friendly.

The gym was closed, main reason i booked the hotel.

Location was fantastic, thats really what you pay for. Lovely views and had close proximity to the V&A waterfront.

The rooms were very shabby, when we entered there was a distinct mustiness to the room. Bed was small and uncomfortable and generally was a low standard for the price you are paying.

This has been my favorite Capetown hotel for over 10 years. Location to V&A is easy 5 minute walk, Staff go out of there way to treat you like family, rooms very clean & comfortable. Restaurants very reasonable with great variety. New Addition is the in house "Tour Concierge ~ EKSPRESS TRAVEL & TOURS" the owner Mr. Munebe a long time Cape resident & staff will provide quality transportation and guided private tours to area attractions and airport.

It was all perfect, including the visit from Santa

The location is good. It’s about a 5 minutes walk to the waterfront

The AC unit didn’t have the option to close the vents

Staff, bar, rooms are HUGE. Gym is nice & the pool which they just recently renovated?? the fries are amazing the breakfast is soo delicious. A few shout outs especially to Lisa in management she gets the job done. All of the staff are great, they always remember us when we go back which is so adorable!

    No complaints from me

    6LandiwePosted on: 10-21-2025

The location suited us for what we had gone to do

First they got my booking wrong i.e. gave us a smaller room than we had booked and it took them too long to sort out.Secondly the Wifi was horrible. Thirdly , when we booked they didn't indicate that the pool was unavailable and that was one of the main reasons I had chosen them as I was travelling with my 11 year old daughter.
