    Pros +

    • Great location; extremely helpful staff; wonderful restaurant with great breakfast buffet and elegant dinners with excellent ambiance.
    • This was our fifth stay at The Cape Milner and we will not hesitate to return. The location is great and feels safe (only a 5 minute walk to the many bars and restaurants on Kloof Street yet quiet). The pool area is a suntrap and has incredible views of Table Mountain. The staff were engaging, friendly and proactive (and are one of the reasons that we keep returning). Breakfast had an extensive continental selection along with hot options. We had lunch by the pool which was delicious and great value.Rooms are spacious and very clean, with strong air con and effective black out curtains.
    • The Cape Milner is value for money and a very comfortable and simple place to stay in Cape Town. The hotel feels safe, cozy, and well maintained, which was important for us while travelling as a family. The hotel has secure parking, which added to the overall convenience. Staff is super helpful.

    Cons -

    • nothing comes to mind
    • The food needs improvement. My caesar salad did not come with crispy gem lettuce but rather soft lettuce, and had tomatoes in it?? No bacon or chicken either. The eggs I ordered at breakfast were runny when I asked for medium. The room had no menu or numbers displayed to phone room service or reception - you have to scan a QR code!!

The location is good to Kloof street shopping and restaurants and cafes. The luggage storage pre and post check in was handy. Good coffee station facilities in the room. Comfortable bed and linen.

The pool area with views of Table Mountain is lovely. Also go service. Enjoyed dinner with friends at rhe hotel restaurant, and breakfast was a good spread although cappuccino is charged separately.

I was dropped at the hotel by a friend, last saw my spare cellphone when I dropped it into my suitcase in the room after unpacking, the last seen time on WhatsApp. The phone was never seen again and the hotel says footage shows that no staff member entered my room at all during my stay. Disappointing as it definitely went missing while I was at the hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel in the city. The staff, decor and attention to detail is superb. The Cape Milner made our 32nd wedding anniversary extra special ❤️

Fabulous hotel in a central location, close to bustling Kloof Street and with easy access to the waterfront. The room was very modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food options. Everything was world class. I would definitely stay at the Cape Milner again.

    I can’t fault anything.

A great view and a lovely pool

    Breakfast was a bit poor

The hotel is in a great location, not far from Kloof Street but very quiet and peaceful. The room had great views of the Lions Head.My daughter and I had a peaceful sleep.

The toilet was too crammed between the bath and the shower with very little space. The breakfast was not so great and the breakfast staff was not attentive at all. There was no provision for vegans even when you did ask. That was confusing to me since they had 3 types of plant milk available.

Staff willing to help us in an efficient and friendly wayDecent foodPleasant location

Not accessible in every way. I have trouble with stairs. No bathroom for guests on ground floor. No bannisters to pool area.No grab rails on bath in bedroom, or in shower. These are helpful to everyone, elderly or not.
