Poorly designed room. Glass wall between shower / bathroom and Kitchen, Motion detector light in bathroom can't be turned off, towel heater right next to toilet, slippery epoxy flooring in bathroom.

Great decor and such nice staff. My daughter aged 20 stayed on her own and loved it.

Met our requirements. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Did upgrade my room as Genius 3!

We loved the location and amazing staff. Fabulous facilities - felt like a home away from home with added service. Room was beautifully decorated and we were able to park our car behind a gate which was great. Breakfast was amazing! Our room was very small but we did book the lowest but one level of room so can’t knock it for that. We will stay again.

From prompt airport pickup (thank you, Milton!) to allowing us to leave our bags before check-in time, everything at Pineapple House began perfect and stayed perfect throughout! The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated with so much character, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located on a quiet street just a few easy blocks walk from the sea point promenade, with a convenience store nearby as well. I would absolutely stay at Pineapple House again!

We had two different experiences in the hotel because we had to ask for extra nights due to the fire in London airport. Our first night was in a beautiful room. Large, spacious and with a fabulous bath area and balcony with a view of lions head. The second two nights we were kindly helped out with accommodation but it was the tiniest loft room. We had to keep watching our heads so we didn’t bash against the beams. Once we’d got used to it we actually got very comfortable in the tiny space. The only issue was that being in the loft the water pressure was affected if other people were using it. We just learnt to wait and use it when it got stronger again. We loved the location and closeness to shops restaurants and the sea. The decor was quirky and interesting and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff were outstanding and all so helpful and friendly.

Every detail was well thought put and the design and decorations were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was also friendly, professional, and so accommodating. I arrived ill, and the staff arranged for a doctor to see me at the hotel within a couple hours.

The hotel is a real gem. Excellently located in the hub of Seapoint, Cape Town but in a quiet side road. Very helpful staff and outstanding decor and amenities. Can highly recommend.

Everything! The people were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was to die for - fresh friut, chocolate croissants, and if that wasn’t enough, you could order something warm. My husband had eggs benedict with bacon and he loved it. I was completely content with the variety of fresh fruit on offer. (By the way, the food was also displayed beautifully!)As an interior designer, I loved how the hotel was decorated. It was warm and inviting and a little quirky. The materials were beautiful, and the theme, in my opinion, worked perfectly.I also loved our room. One could say it was small, but the clever use of space allowed us more than enough space to store our suitcases with no problem. Considering the size of the room, the size of the bed and bathroom were luxurious. The bed was so cozy and comfortable, I slept great the three nights we were there. Here again, I just loved the decor. It put a smile on my face and made me happy!! We also had a perfect view of Lion’s Head. We were so happy with our choice of this hotel. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Cape Town, and I will be sure to tell all my friends about it.A very warm thank you to the entire staff ❤️

It really wasn’t a problem, but there is not a lift. So if you have a hard time with stairs, it could be tricky. That being said, when we checked in, the man brought our suitcase to our room. Very kind people run this hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, attention to detail in every room, super friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast. A very short walk to beach and restaurants. Comfortable beds and a quiet street. Perfect.

Beautiful decoration, 4 different pillows to choose your ideal neck support, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast, lovely outdoor areas on different sides to spend some quiet time, very cosy reception area where you actually want to spend some time!

Unique decoration, each room is decorated differently. Beautiful art work on property. Amazing breakfast. Friendly staff. Two blocks away from Promenade. I walked on Promenade every morning during my stay there.

My husband and I had a great time at the Pineapple House! Super friendly service and beautiful design in the room. Excellent breakfast with several warm options brought to the table a la carte style + a variety of fresh fruits available from the buffet. The location in Sea point was great as the area is safe to walk around and there are lots of restaurant options. If we are ever in Cape town again, we'll make sure to book this hotel again :)

Fun decor and loved the colourful vibe. Small pineapple details and quirky messages on doors and soaps etc.

Just delighted on every front. The breakfast was exceptional, and we had not been to Cape Town before but thought the location was perfect. Great to walk to beaches and bays or alternatively to the V and A Waterfront. Staff were 1sr class and special call out to Milton who took us on a great day trip to Cape Point.

Our room was a little on the small size

I love this hotel so much. We were in one of the cute attic rooms and it was perfect, I didn't want to leave. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff are really friendly. Location is great and ok for walking down to Mojo Market and back on an evening. Staff are very security conscious, double checking our identity when we came back to pick up bags after we had checked out which I thought was brilliant.

Nothing to dislike, it was fantastic

The location was perfect. It's relatively in the safe area. It's close to beach, mojo market and many restaurants. The decoration was very pretty. The breakfast was amaying! The staffs are welcoming and very attentive.

We asked laundry but they forgot to return a pair of pants. We had to come back after a few days to pick it up. The hotel staff didn't notice untill we contacted.
