Location was excellent for business and non-business travel. excellent restaurant/meeting spot downstairs.

The room was a bit outdated, but actually reflected in the price, so it was very good value for money. Would stay again.

Good location; pleasant staff; convenient onsite restaurant; even better coffee shop just around the corner; onsite parking - though very tight spaces and had to contend with restaurant and bar-goers for availability.

Wifi not good/spotty; shower took forever to warm up - so much for trying to help conserve water; floor in room really dirty; no late checkout.

Shower door was leaking, no sealant. No sheet, only duvet cover. No tissue paper. Should have indicated that room was over outdoor terrace.

Priced right. Terrific location. Directly across the street from the Hop On Hop Off Bus stop, a park, and the ocean. Big room, comfortable not fancy. Massive shower, Excellent breakfast. Dinners also great.

Would have been a 10 except the lift was not working. This seems to be a prepetual problem. Fortunately, we were on the 1st floor, which were still plenty of stairs for old knees.

The location was perfect, and I think the price was very good considering the location. Everyone was extremely polite, but the rooms were old, and our room door wouldn’t close; we had to lock it.

The hotel in general needs maintenance, the furniture is generally old (the bed was very comfortable).

The staff was great, the room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

I requested and received an ocean view room but it was right above the restaurant which could be noisy.

The room goes directly to an outside area, thus making it a bit cold despite switching the heating on the AC on.There is only one international socket on the other side of the room, so charging devices was always a bit tricky.

Breakfast was the best. Receptionist Simon was so helpful. Location is very safe and convenient for any activity. The bus stop is in front the hotel.

Awkward parking in the back of property, difficult with luggage coming in on uneven levels.

Great location if you need to be anywhere in Green point, Sea point or the V&A

The location was nice and the view was really great

This booking was made to celebrate a special occasion (birthday), the hotel asked if there was any special occassion on their booking form, so then an expectation is created that they would do something to acknowledge the special occassion but they didn't even wish you Happy Birthday, never mind leave a card or anything.

Location is as good as it could be. Had a bit of a sea view was a bonus. The room was nice and space full.

The water pressure of the shower was not great

The front of the hotel along with the restaurant looks quite quaint, but the rooms, walkways and elevators are very dated. The elevator buttons were indented into the panel making you think it had not received a good service or repairs in quite some time. The walkways to the room seemed like an area to store odds and ends. The photos on the website for the room that we booked, were most probably taken many years ago when the hotel was still maintained the rooms. The flooring was a mismatch of boards, the extractor fan was loud and noisy and requires a service. The wall tiles in the shower were cracked and the balastrade does not comply to building regultions in terms of the minimum height required or the distance between openings. Definitely not worth the nightly rate.

The property was on good spot of location close to promenade and restaurants and convenience store ate easy accessible, although the facility requires upgrade and refurbishment.Hopefully in future it can be upgraded.

Convenience/ central and restaurant downstairs .

Sleeping pillows too hard which can daunt your first night stay.

Downstairs restaurant noise up to midnight, flashing hotel advert sign, foghorn sounding every 30 seconds from the Mouille point lighthouse, intoxicated guest trying his best to unlock our door at 2 in the morning.
