Pros +
- Location is central. Good breakfast
- Location/Breakfast/staff / service
- Perfect location, services, room and bed size. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons -
- Neighborhood has barking dogs (city has lots of stray dogs). Not an issue normally if there’s Air Con in room: in this case no Air Con so you needed to have window open. Not relaxing or within control of hotel.
- Clean but needs updating
- SPA opens at 2 pm and closes at 9 pm.

Perfect location, services, room and bed size. Breakfast was excellent.

All the receptionists (especially François) are very helpful with information on how to get entry tickets to National Parks on line, on how to exchange money and on how to choose the local restaurant at EL Calafate. What I like best also includes their heartwarming smiles, their beautiful English speaking and their competences. The decoration of the hotel is also pretty and chic, with excellent taste.
Very nice, helpful staff, a great location and a very nice breakfast
no complaints
The location is great, 2min walk away from the main streets with many restaurants and stores. warm and good breakfast
The curtains in the shower smelled weird, it gave the feeling the bathroom smelled like urine. Also, I checked in at 5:50pm, at 10:20pm they sent me all key information/available services, if I had been notified on time it would have saved me spending extra money in food
Very good location and excellent service Great breakfast options
The breakfast is the best among our two weeks vacation in Argentina and Chile. very comfortable rooms and Furnitures, equivalent to Marriot hotel in the United States.
Not really, maybe elevator is kind of slow, but we really don't use it unless we move in and out with luggage.
Everything was ok. the reception staff respond and made quick solutions to our questions. clean rooms and quiet area
Water courtesy and tea courtesy in the room
Facilities, very clean. Good staff
Breakfast is good and room is clean
Wifi is unstable and extremely slow; one day cleaning lady left the window which I did not notice until later night I felt so cold
Overall a great experience. After a mix up with spa bookings the reception staff gave us complimentary late check-out in order to find a solution. The restaurant is somewhat quiet but the food is excellent.Beds are very comfortable, the outlets/sockets very strangely located and too few.Walls are thin but we slept well anyway.Great central location!
The biggest scam here is their so-called “Spa area.” They advertise it proudly, but here’s the joke: you’re only allowed to use it for 30 minutes a day. Yes, seriously. There’s a whirlpool and a sauna, but you’re limited to 15 minutes in each – then you have to get dressed and leave. What kind of ridiculous rule is that? I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this is by far the most absurd setup I’ve ever seen.I even asked if we could stay longer since no one had booked the spa after us, but they still said no. Zero flexibility. Which brings me to the staff – unfriendly and unhelpful. Not once did they try to make us feel welcome or accommodate our needs. Cold, dismissive, and honestly just unprofessional. And it doesn’t stop there: the rooms are seriously outdated. The key cards kept malfunctioning – I had to go back to reception multiple times just to get them reprogrammed, which was beyond frustrating. The so-called gym? A joke. Old, cheap equipment that’s basically unusable. The breakfast was below average at best, and to top it all off: if you want a coffee, you have to pay extra. Really? If you’re thinking about staying here – don’t. Save your money, time, and patience. There are far better places out there that actually care about their guests.
It's location relative to city centerSpecious RoomGood breakfast
Not enough light in the room. A bit dark.No power outlets near the bed's drawer chest for plugging the charge of the phones.
Nothing at all!!! Honestly, I don't understand how someone could rate this place with anything more than mediocre. ... sad
There is mold in the roof, the furniture is old, the staff are not polite at all, they have a very inefficient system to open the garage door (you have to ring two bells and even doing this, nobody comes to open it).The bathroom is small, and there was a bathtub in the shower area. It was very old, nasty, small, and slippery (I almost felt).
The Location, staff, spa, restaurant were great!
Location. Staff are all nice. The room is clean.
The room has an old smell.
Location was good. Breakfast was good. Front desk was helpful.
Dogs barking outside our window every night. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work, so moisture and smells did not dissipate.Had to pay for any espresso drinks. $1,000 for 3 nights was much more than it’s value.
Location , cleanliness, polite staff
The rooms were very noisy, you could hear people talking in next rooms, even the noise of the flash in the toilet. The elevator was out of order and no-one from the staff was available to help us transfer our huge luggages at the stairs.
The location is central, close to shops and restaurants. The staff is courteous. Breakfast is OK.
The exterior look and interior decoration are dated. The floor and bathroom finish is worn. The room is small with two beds. Lack of outlets for charging devices. We have to unplug TV to use its outlet.
