    Pros +

    • The hotel is located on the outskirts of the town. It is very quiet and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and service was very good.
    • Close to the city center Has parking
    • Great breakfast and nice views from the restaurant.

    Cons -

    • Rooms were the second level of hell. Choice of cooling was having the window and door wide open inviting undesired humans or bugs in.Lack of response when having to make a change in the reservation. The walls appear to be walls but we could hear everything on the next room. Children on the next room served us as the 5am alarm clock.Safe in the room was so complicated to us as the first computer. We will be taking our future business somewhere else.
    • Rooms were very simple, overpriced in my opinion.
    • This hotel is one of the pricier options in the area. It's considered 4 stars but we didn't feel like it met the criteria of a 4 star hotel. When first checking in, the staff noticed we were struggling with our luggage and didn't offer to help or point us towards a luggage cart. The room seemed like it needed some updates- the wall paper was peeling in some areas and the bathroom grout was pretty dirty. The walls are also very thin - we could hear all the conversations of our neighbors. We stayed at another smaller 2 star hotel during our previous travel through El Calafate which was less than half the price and it seemed on par and a little cleaner than the Weskar Lodge.

Very nice decoration, breakfast was excellent with a great natural view.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff, the restaurant smells great and the food is quite good. There’s a nice little courtyard with tree stumps to sit on, and a balcony with an awesome view - we even saw ibises on the lawn from there. Special thanks for having Tabasco at breakfast. The laundry service is inexpensive.

A bit far from the "city center", but it’s still walkable. The room is not the newest, but it’s perfectly fine.

Beautiful hotel. Smaller rooms. Wonderful staff. FANTASTIC breakfast.

Rooms felt a bit dated but we were reallly happy overall.

Great location, most of the staff was friendly and welcoming

The building is noticeably old and needs maintenance. The door to the room was hard to open and the door to the bathroom didn’t close properly. The mattress was clearly worn out. The rooms were too dark with only a tiny window that opens to a set of trees. I’d had expected more of a superior room

Very lovely hotel with a gorgeous view across the street. Facundo was very helpful and nice! The room was large with a comfortable bed and a great breakfast. For a small fee, a picnic lunch could be purchased, which was very convenient on long tours. The hotel was conveniently located for tours and trips to shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again!

Overall service was exceptional! We asked for a very early check in and they did a terrific job of accommodating us. Rooms were clean and spacious. Don’t hesitate!

Great location, amazing breakfast and staff.

Needs to invest in updating…. Lots of small but noticeable issues in walls, ceiling, etc

Cosy hotel, close to the city centre, good breakfast.

Rooms are small, the bathroom is tiny and needs renovation.

Everything was wonderful. Personnel was very responsive and helped us book several trips - would recommend both 25 de Mayo farm and the boat tour to Glaciers.Breakfast was nice and very accommodating in time - from 6 to 10.30 or so.

I wanted to change the reservation and I had to call and write to them 8 times (in total) over the period of 7 days before being able to communicate with them

    10BogdanPosted on: 4-24-2025

Everything- location (walking distance to city center), very clean rooms and good breakfast

I bit noisy at night since our room was facing the main street

    6SuzannePosted on: 4-22-2025

The breakfast was average. It was enough to have a good start to your day.

The fire detector went off in our room at 3 Am. I did not sleep the rest of the night as I was so startled. The reception staff didn't even apologize and commented that they could not possibly predict or know if the battery was low. They were defensive and very rude. The next day we heard the hallway fire detector go off as well as the detector in the room beside us. If they actually changed them at least twice a year this would not happen.

It's like 15 minutes walk to center. Very clean however rooms are a bit old.Breakfast is really good!Regards

Excellent breakfast buffet. Beautiful location with a view to Lago Argentino.

I think they are in the process of upgrading the rooms which are frankly a bit dated. Like the carpet needs to be changed as well as the bathroom fixtures. Still the room was perfectly clean. Spotless!
