Caseros 248 Hotel

Location and very helpful staff

This was my third time staying at Caseros 248 Hotel. The staff has had turnover, but is still friendly and helpful. The room is always clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a perfect location with plenty to do, see, and eat within walking distance. The breakfast is very good, and the one dinner that I had in the hotel restaurant this trip was delicious. I'm also happy to say that the gym/fitness center has been updated, and now has a universal machine. I'm sure that I will stay here again.

Nothing was disappointing on this trip.

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly Ang helpful. The hotel was very clean and attractive. Very good value.

The location was great. 5-10 minute walk to Plaza San Martin. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. We also ate lunch there which was very good.

Our room had a lot of traffic noise - particularly loud during the night. WiFi reception was also very poor in our room.

The food was good and breakfast had great variety. The lighting and ambience of the hotel was wonderful.

I didn't like that we didn't have better control over the temperature in our room. It was too warm and we couldn't turn on a fan or air.

My wife booked this hotel for 3 nights in a standard double room on her trip to Uruguay and Argentina.Positive: - Staff is friendly and helpful, corresponds to the hotel category- Room is large and modern- Cleanliness is good- The location of the hotel is good, you can reach everything very quickly on foot.

Negatives:- Breakfast offers little choice of cheese, cold cuts and bread. Mainly toast and sweet pastries.

Lack of attention to detail. One towel for two people. Very little toilet paper. Old and moldy shower carpet.

The hotel works and the rooms are spacious, the third room had two large beds, which is really nice :). The hotel as a very large reception area, where you can actually sit or do some work.

So the check-out was 10 AM; that is not really international standard (some hotels in Argentina do it, but some have checkout at noon), so that was quite inconvenient.

Second time staying at Caseros 248 Hotel, and the staff is still friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in an excellent location. There is a lot to see and eat within walking distance. It is also quite easy to get out of the area when needed. I will happily stay here again.

Not a major complaint, but the gym/fitness center could use a few heavier weights and a bench, or universal machine.

Central location. Helpful staff at reception but didn't speak much English. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with very good xcrambled eggs.. Kettle in room which we liked.

Big anonymous hotel with no character. Air conditioning dudn't work but window opened. Hot water in shower was dangerously hot. Pillows very hard.

The stay was very pleasant. Exceptionally good staff, they helped me with a night extension due to an issue with the returning flight, even though the hotel was quite full. Clean rooms and good breakfast. In conclusion, very good relation between the price and the service.

Great location in the heart of the Old City. Very comfortable and spacious room with all you need - a variety of lighting, chairs for reading, electric kettle. Friendly staff and flexibility for check-in and check-out time.

Breakfast, location and room are good. The bed is enormous and very comfortable.

They charge for parking. It's not included in the price. I guess this should be clarified when booking. A Coca-Cola bottle was opened in my room fridge, but they solved it by giving me one without charging it. The carpets generate static electricity and you will be kicked when you touch the elevator.
