First Hotel Viking

The staff was super helpful. The hotel provided hot tea and coffee at the lobby which was a big plus during cold winter days! They also had a waffles station in the afternoon for snacks. The room and bed was a bit small but ok for a single traveler. There was also a small fridge in the room.

There was no hair dryer in the room. You can borrow it from the hotel but they didn't have any (as all were not returned yet) when I asked. The rooms was pricy given the size of the room, but Tromso is a tourist hotspot.

Cozy room. Comfortable and the warm drinks and waffles were a nice touch. Close to the city center and many places to eat and explore were a quick walk.

I like how flexible they are with their check-in. It was so cold and rainy and the receptionist allowed us to check in at 10AM without extra charge. Free waffles, tea, coffee and water as well.

I hear the steps of the guests from the upper floor but understandable. Not a big deal.

Great place, staff was very nice! They have a coffee, tea and cookies always at the entrance and an hour of waffles. Really enjoyed the stay!

They didnot tell us upon arrival about the parking place they had and we gott a ticket for parking in front of the hotel. Lack of comunication

The facilities were clean. It was a great location. The evening waffles and free coffee and tea were a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing, polite and friendly staff. They made us feel welcomed during our stay. We felt safe with the 24/7 reception.

It was very quaint with their 5pm waffles bar each day. It was super clean and staff was extremely helpful!

Only problem with the location was it was super warm and windows had to be open over night… much partying going on until early hours of the morning

The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was near the waterfront, restaurants and a playground for our son. The complimentary waffles in the evening were a nice unexpected touch. We got a pizza to eat from a nearby restaurant and it was unsliced. The hotel had a pizza cutter that they lent us to cut the pizza with :)

The room was a little bit on the smaller side. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was a bit tight.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything including the city center was accessible within walking distance so great location , the view of my room was amazing too. The room was cozy and comfy and had very good heating and conditioning.

The only thing I could say is the fact that I had to ask the reception for the blow dryer, the room does not go with it. But was no problem at all after all. In general it was a bit expensive for a single bed room, but that is Norway haha, it is a pricey country.

Wifi is efficiently smooth. The location is easy to reach by bus with a little walk.

Some bedrooms are very small for two persons. The hotel sign is not easy to be seen from the street.

The staff were helpful and the room was adequate enough. The location was good.
