Limited Food choices (did not know I could have been accommodated for no pork/shellfish had I mentioned it in advance).

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!....Friendly staff...easy check in/ out process...I had superior room with sea view and was able to watch Aurora almost every night which was fabulous...The hotel is in walking distance to major attractions including tours and airport bus stop...the breakfast, fika and dinner menu were excellent with many options.

Exceeded my expectation by far. Amazing service and staff, great room and the view (you can ask for an upgrade for a small extra cost), includes breakfast buffet, snacks and dinner buffet, which saves a lot of money, especially for those staying longer than one night. It also has a gym and a lovely sauna which is perfect for colder days. Extremely close to all the tour boats and every other tourist destination in Tromsø, but also very close to the bus stop.

Nothing, it was the best hotel experience I had, given the price, which is similar to other hotels where you get far less.

Comfortable room and bed. A room with the harbor view was available when I asked. It was perfect for the fireworks on NYE. Thank you for the games on the tables in the dining room. The machine for the taxi was convenient.

Perhaps the food for the breakfast and dinner could have been out a little longer. It was taken away immediately when the time was up. Also, a variety of meat and fish would have been nice for those who do not eat fish. Hooks on the wall for the towels, in the Superior room would help people stay organized, in a small room.

I really enjoyed how breakfast, dinner and even fika was included as part of our stay.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Tromsø. The harbor location is perfect, the food is excellent (a must in this region), and the hotel feels warm and cozy throughout. What truly stands out is the staff—exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always going beyond expectations. Highly recommended.

Room was dirty, bathroom has previous shaver left behind in the shower. Room did not get refreshed for three nights. The hotel is saving money and staff in the name of ‘environment’.

Great hotel. Our room was comfortable and so were the beds. The bathroom had heated floors, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good and the dinner was good with lots of choices. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Good location, literally can walk almost everywhere.

No robes or slippers. No refrigerator.

Lack of heating in room

From walking into the entrance the warm, cozy , home from home vibe hit hard. The receptionist was wonderfully warm and welcoming and gave us all the advice we didn't know we needed. We booked a deluxe double with sea view and the view was incredible! Our "double" bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, but still very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom kept it lovely and warm when having showers. We didn't have dinner at the hotel due to being out on trips, but the buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty and the dining area quiet and very clean. Fika in the afternoon was a lovely touch and the cake was amazing!

We could here some noise from the room upstairs when they were walking around and I had trouble trying to get the temperature of the room right but it was never cold and neither issue was bad enough that we felt the need to seek help from reception.

Center of town and on the waterfront. Nice views. Good food at breakfast and dinner buffets. Friendly staff. Sauna facility

Carpet in the room

Wonderful Location. Wonderful View of Tromso's Waterbody from the room. Both Breakfast & Dinner had great choices.

The vent in the room blows dust into the room. As a result, the floor carpet and tables were full of dust. needs regular cleaning.

Great value in Norway providing both breakfast and supper. Nice comfortable room at a good location.

Evening meal (halfboard dinner) was way below par. Very chewy meat and extremely dry fish.

There is always coffee and tea available, especially for rainy cold days.

There is no daily room cleaning at this hotel. Guests are required to register at the reception one day in advance to request what they call “regular room cleaning.” However, this service only includes removing rubbish and changing towels; vacuuming or carpet cleaning is not included.We stayed for four nights and only learned of this unusual policy after our second night. We registered for cleaning on the second night, but no service was provided on the third day. We had to go back to the reception to request it again. When we informed the receptionist (a lady with short hair) that our room had not been cleaned for over three days, she simply told us that the room cleaning staff had finished work at 4 PM and there was nothing she could do. This was said without any apology. Eventually, she agreed to have only the rubbish removed from our room.Basic room cleaning should be a standard service included in the room rate, unless the hotel explicitly states otherwise. It is difficult to understand how this property has been classified as a four-star hotel, as the service quality falls far below that standard. Guests should not expect proper hotel services here.

Everything was perfect! Since first day that i arrived and checking in to the last day! Staff always there if you need them, room was super nice and clean with a view on the sea. Food delicious, always on time and a choice for everybody. Coffee available all day, Fika in the afternoon. I can really recommend this hotel!

We had a fabulous view from room over harbor towards cathedral. Excellent central location - we walked from Hurtigrutin dock. High quality bufffet for breakfast and dinner included in room rate - very comfortable dining area! And Fika with a great desert was also a bonus. Comfortable lobby. Entrance on back away from harbor. Very attentive friendly staff. Bed was comfy, 2 good chairs in room to enjoy the view, big shower. Was a real find! Very glad we stayed! We bought a 24 hour bus pass which was really easy to navigate to visit to Cathedral, Tromso museum, botanic gardens, and airport. Will stay again when in Tromso.
