The hotel was all locked up and could not be checked in to at the time requested. There is no front desk or receptionist, and no instructions on how to check in.

Quiet and good traditional atmosphere!

No left even for the fifth floor!! No facilities of any kind!

The downstairs bar had some awesome live music! And the bartender was killer!

Open hours, night entrance, and laundry facilities were confusing, but I figured it out!

A wonderful place to stay when visiting events in Lahti. The water pressure in the showers is excellent and the rooms simple yet comfy.Close to the bus station.

The room door was at times hard to open.

Nothing really. It was clean.

No lift - we had to lug a heavy case up 5 flights of stairs. No facilities other than the room, access to a kitchen & an unwelcoming bar outside. Had to pay €10 to park in a completely empty car park. It should not be advertised as a hotel, it is a hostel with none of the facilities described when booking.

It is ok - rooms are fairly clean and the floors are well organized. Backyard needs some work.

Thy charged me 20€ for early check in even the place was completely empty when I arrived on a Friday noon.

Beautiful views, lovely swimming pool and salt water jacuzzi. Breakfast included.

I was not able to use their Sauna’s during my stay as they are only available at very limited times. (I think pre booking might be possible, I had not done this)

Good location, friendly housekeeper, kindly offered the opportunity for late check-out to be able to wash after Finlandia Hiihto. Everything was there in the kitchen.

Room was a bit too cold.

I was the only guest during the week, but they took really nice care of me and prepared me breakfast into the fridge near my room. Also, they did not mind I checked out later in the afternoon after I finished work etc. Friendly stuff, had a really nice stay in Lahti than to them and it was also nearby the train station!

Could have been a little bit warmer in the room itself, but the common rooms were nice and warm.

Lunch buffet was great.

It was highly priced because of the triathlon event.

I thought it was a hotel but it is an over priced hostel with no free parking

Unique atmosphete in the bar (Opiston Kelleri) - very good jazz was played by intresting musicans. A vibe can’t put in words, definetly worth to experience.

Rooms were quite cold.

Just amazing. A real stripped down bare minimums hotel. No elevators, no TVs, no nothing! Just a come and take a load off. Bleak room with a crust punk bed instead of a chair and a desk with garbage in the drawers.

The parking was a bit confusing, the lot had a parking meter, but you were actually supposed to pay at the reception. The reception is only open when absolutely necessary. Breakfast not included, it's a separate service.

The staff were lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. The location was great - less than 5 mins from shops, bars and restaurants. Free parking in the streets around the property and a short walk from the station. Would definitely recommend - we shall be back next year!

no lift in the property and no AC it was 30 degrees outside and hotter inside than outside. Expensive as it was a hostel

Location is good, it's clean and with large stairs (perfect when you carry a bike). I did like the bathroom too as very big. The shared relaxing area was really cool with nice sofa bed and massive modern TV. Ideal to cook too. Staff was very nice and with a good sense of humour.

While we were enjoying a beer in the hotel garden on a lovely evening, we were asked to pay €5/person for a gig which had no interest for us. We refused and unfortunately we were kicked out the hotel garden whereas they were so many free seats. We went in town to continue our chat and for another beer. People from the hotel should keep free access to the garden even when there is an event like this. Especially when having 25% attendance at best and our bedroom view was anyway straight on the garden.
