Rooms look nice and are big

Beds are very hard and uncomfortable, there was a compressor or fan in the hallway screaming

Friendly & warm reception, large room, great breakfast with good coffee

Cup and saucers in room do not match, only small coffee bodem in room with enough coffee for two small cups.

Staff were very helpful. Rooms comfortable. Food good. Gated with a guard.

The property was beautiful and tranquil. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was also delicious, no complaints and would highly recommend.

Breakfast was good. Location was good except that you need to have independent transport. There is nothing in the hotel description that you require transport because of the location of the hotel, a long walk from other facilities. The meal timings in the hotel description were incorrect, especially for lunch.

They had a 50th Birthday function in the dining area till early hours in the morning. The reception did inform us about it but only on the day and said it should be finished by 11pm but it carried on. We didn’t hear much noise once we were in our rooms though so it was okay. Lucky we had plans to go out that evening so didn’t have to have dinner there. Otherwise venue is super and beautiful surroundings from the dining area.

The aesthetics (facility, cleanliness, and the food ) were amazing. However, there was a serious lack of the human touch, which ruined the experience. The staff was not welcoming, and we felt like we were taken foregranted. It almost felt like we bought a Ferrari with an Uno engine. We normally tip the staff generously for the experience, but this time, we left without leaving a tip for the first time.

It was a bit difficult to get to for the Uber drivers.

One of the rooms with steps was little uncomfortable for us ( elderly people ) but the rest was fine.

The property is so near and clean

The chef was rude , the property could not offer breakfast but I was just for breakfast. The chef came and told me it closed at 9:30am while the receptionist said it starts from 7am to 10am and I was at the dining just 9:35am but I could not be served. My coffee was prepared by a cleaner , which it was also served cold.

The rooms were very spacious and well decorated. Check in was very speedy which was appreciated as we only arrived at 22h00. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Would definitely book again.

The aircons in the rooms were not big/ strong enough to cool down the room adequately. One small issue was that there was nowhere to plug your phone charger in next to your bed, there was only one plug point and that was for the lamp.

The quiet, the maturity of the hotel and the awesome staff. The room was beautiful, comfortable and luxurious . The plunger coffee in room was delicious. Everything we needed for an over night stay was fantastic . Our check in host was friendly and welcoming . He explained all we needed to know and wished us a pleasant evening out to Sunbet Arena . Ps . Don’t even bother going to Sunbet area for dinner before a show . Rather stay and have dinner at Rasmus. Or check out was seamless and he looked forward to welcoming us back for another stay in the near future which was really special.

No vegan option for breakfast offered BUT…… the chef came to see me and sorted that out very quickly / I should have mentioned this when I booked so thank you Chef for organising something quickly. I know it comes at expense but we would have loved to stay longer if there was a small pool and coffees or beverages served outside.

This is a beautiful and pristine property. A lovely and tranquil setting. Lots of personal touches. The rooms are modern and spacious. The staff were friendly professional and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Truly world class. I love the piece of nature in the heart of the city. Highly recommend

No provision is made for a take away breakfast request. We had to leave early for hospitalisation.

Ideally situated close to Pretoria in a beautiful garden with mature trees and water feature, home to some koi fish. The food was very good and the staff went out of their way to send us the forgotten sunglasses for our trip to the Kruger. Thank you so much!
