My stay was not good . I just wanted to leave in the morning The property must need some renovations

The pictures looks different from the real property.its just a scam.Their bathrooms are not that clean , they are very old. The mattresses makes noise. The beds just shake when you sit/sleep. It is difficult to find the place especially at night.

It is a perfect place for some peace and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. I like the aesthetic of the place, I felt like I was in a different continent. I loved that I had both the shower and the bathtub, for those quick mornings and slow evenings.

I had a little issue with the door leading outside through the stairs, it didn't close properly and that made me a little anxious at night. I hope that can be fixed so guests can feel completely free during their stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Manager is super friendly and helpful, so is the rest of the staff.

The two rooms we booked is in urgent need of maintenance, the paint on the skirtings is full of mark and the walls also need painting. That is why I did not rate facilities as excellent. Grout in showers is dirty and need replacement, give the bathroom a dirty and old feel. No hairdryers in the rooms.

The staff here was very accommodating. This place is a hidden gem and is in a historical building. If you like history and beauty this place is for you! You have an outside pool, beautiful views outside, in an easy to get to location. The rooms are themed, spaces are large and the whole place is kept very clean!

I am from out of the country so there are some customs that I wasn't aware of before I arrived. I stayed at another hotel prior to this one and didn't have any heat in the room, and didn't have any heat in the room at this location. I assume that this must be some sort of local custom. So unfortunately me and my guests were cold inside even though it was relatively warm outside. We weren't able to use the large beautiful tub because the bathroom and the apartment was too cold. The beds were very hard, but the beds were hard at the other place so that seems to be a local custom. I am from America and I am used to softer beds. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sleep very well, but the beds were clean and the apartment itself was beautiful Local TV sucks also ?

It’s so peaceful and quiet. The room was so clean and spacious.Their English breakfast was also on point ?

Great friendly staff, awesome breakfast, beautiful building and surroundings.

Otherwise beautiful bathroom had some dirty slime in the seams of the shower, the pillows should have been changed long time ago, the ironing board cover was falling apart.

Its location-tranquility is exceptional.

The bed was uncomfortable-old and not supportive to one’s back.

Plugs never worked in the room. Had to unplug the aircon to charge my phone on the only working plug. Breakfast was nice and beds were comfortable.

Clean & Quiet environment.

Coffee station wasn't stocked after previous quests and had to request from staff. Breakfast room was very quiet and playing music would lighten the mood a little while eating.

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and well prepared. And very generous.

I liked the breakfast,it was delicious and fresh.We have enjoyed them so much.Tor staff are friendly and quick to assist.

I did not like smell in our room.It was full of cigarettes smell and some other funny smell The bed is old and it has some antique legs which extends to the sides.Whenever we walk the corners hurt our toes nd knees.Me and my husband The mayrass is old nd making noise..y

Comfortable and peaceful in a safe environment. Plenty of covered parking. Very comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful.

Staff need training in how to do laundry.

The venue is superbly located near the city centre, and easy to navigate to the highway and various malls and restaurants around Pretoria like the ones in Lynwood

Poor, Poor and Appalling customer services from the caretaker lady, the worst customer experience ever! the management of that venue must teach their staff how to interact with PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! I could not eat breakfast as the lady told me i am 5 min late, even though the venue does not have a large kitchen, nor was the venue full.

The property is located in a nice and quiet suburb with great views of the city. The landscaping is remarkable and the garden is well kept. The staff were friendly and really helpful. There was plenty of parking and I generally felt safe.

The bedding was stained. I asked for it to be changed and the new bedding and pillows were also stained, which made me feel really uncomfortable. The shower needs to be renovated. It had old stains and the shower drain was broken. I would also have loved to sit on the private stoep but the outdoor furniture was not cleaned during my stay. Overall the property is good but it could do with some maintenance and proper cleaning.

Quiet, affluent area of town. Big and spacious room. Lovely theme - British royalty. Covered packing was a plus. The staff (ladies) were nice and friendly.

Room allocated - Winchester Very little natural light and air circulation.Mattress had a "depression" - only firm in the middle and I was getting backache.Microwave too slow - takes 5min for simple warm up. Bedside lamps not plugged in (they needed adaptors) and the plugs attached very loosely to the adaptors. Yes there's a safe but was small - only small items can fit (not iPad or laptop).I left a day earlier. Never going back.

They accommodated me with arranging late breakfast and checkout due to work commitments. The stuff is very friendly and patient.

The shower head is old and the door struggle to lock. They should change the doors to modern doors.

Comfortable and quiet

Having stayed here several times before, the place has lost its shine and attention to detail. For example, the pictures are all hanging skew, the decor is plonked in a corner rather than being neatly placed. The hostess who greeted me had dirty overalls on.
