City Lodge Hotel Lynnwood

I have been a loyal guest of City Lodge Hotels, including Courtyard, for many years and have consistently found the experience to be exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately maintained, with crisp, clean linen and a fresh, welcoming ambience. The bathrooms are modern, well-designed, and always spotless.The City Lodge Hotel at Lynwood Bridge stands out in particular due to its excellent location. It is ideally situated close to quality shopping, a variety of good restaurants, and convenient meeting spots with friends, all contributing to a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere.Importantly, the hotel offers excellent value for money, delivering a consistently high standard of comfort, cleanliness, and service at a very reasonable price point.The staff are friendly, professional, and attentive, which further enhances the overall experience. Whenever I am in Pretoria, this is without question my preferred place to stay.Highly recommended. You will not regret booking here—and you will almost certainly return.

The location and the parking is excellent.

Last time I stayed at the City Lodge, breakfast was included. I thought it was like that again. The duvets are placed on the beds the wrong way round. Before going to sleep, the duvets must first be turned over.

I would have liked a small fridge in the room, teeny one, just for water and juice.

The basin was blocked and reported this time the reception on checking out

Breakfast was amazing. Enjoyed the variety and freshness of the food. Your staff is amazing. They take time to really connect with the people.

The dinner options are very limiting. Maybe look at expanding that menu.

Friendly staff

The beds were uncomfortable to me. To bland. I was fulling sinking into the matras. A bottle of water in the room might be a nice.

The environment is clean and the vicinity sorrounded by different food court is an A plus, guess initial wanted to stay one night but I had to add more two days .......so still on my second night,who knows gonna add another one night up to Friday. I love this place.

Perfect location - situated close to highway, restaurants and shopping centre. Great for meeting to be held in quiet environment. Parking is very convenient and safe. The restaurant were upgraded since we were there previous time - 5* service from restaurant for dinner and lunch and very friendly staff - we didn't have breakfast. Even very helpful at 10pm in evening for something to eat.

Buffet breakfast was decent, same every day. I didnt eat lunch or dinner in the hotel but the meals looked decent. The hotel has a great restaurant area just outside with lots to choose from, and quite lively and fun.The rooms are clean and tidy, with most amenities one could need. Charging ports right next to the bed. Great shower!A very convenient stay at a good value!

The doors on the rooms need to have a good bang before they close properly which wakes one up... Aside from this, my room on the top floor was lovely and quiet!

The height of the toilet is very low. Difficult for old people to get up.

The bed was not the standard bed, location of room, unable to get fresh air, due to being above the entrance which is noisy

excellent stay. travelling acout 4 hours to pretoria it is always great to stay at the city lodge lynwood bridge. we always opt to stay there.

the hotel is an excellent overnight stay if you travel to pretoria. there are nothing that we want to complain about.

Central and clean safe area

The stay felt dirty, the linen did not smell fresh and the staff made us feel unwelcome.

The staff from arival to departure were extremely unfriendly, we did not know where to go and we were told to go to reception, but there was no other parking and we had to enter the hotel premises, but was greeted as if we didn't belong there. The room smelled mouldy like carpets that did not dry and when we went to bed a cocroach ran over it.
