Mark at reception kindly allowed us to book in a little earlier as we had to be at a wedding at 15:00. He was so friendly and professional. The room was great, huge bed and lovely bathroom. best thing about the dining room is that the tables are far apart, the breakfast was awesome. We treated ourselves to a couple spa experience, Bridgit and Lerato were great, ask for them

The location of the property is perfect for me. I've been staying there alot. The staff is very friendly and helpful, almost feel like family. The only thing bothering me the last few times I stay there is the maintenance of the rooms. The is a lot of things broken or not in place, the towels is torn and the bedding is torn and there were a blood stain on my sheet this time. There were also a terrible smell in both the rooms I booked. Room 10 and 12. Otherwise it was very nice. I love to stay there, please just see that maintenance is done. Thanks

I liked how spacious the rooms were. Really loved the spa the ladies were sweet. The breakfast had various options and it was quite good. The whole stay was great value for money

The carpet was a bit musty outside the room, we turned on the ac and opened the sliding door so that helped. I wish the hot tub in the spa was operational since it was a bit chilly to swim outside.

Good service, nice big bath, very peaceful, nice pool area and delicious breakfast with friendly staff, well situated.

The room had a bad milldew smell, was not pleasant.

Smell of the drains are not nice. Carpet can be vacuumed and I struggled to open the door to my room. Definitely needs some maintenance.

The location was good

Firstly,check in process was not up to standard.Waited 15 mins to be assisted and even then we had to bag to be assisted.Only one person to attend to the guest,waited 1 hour for our food to be served and the food was tasteless and during the day,they were people playing loud music with no disregard to other guest and when we informed the receptionist of this,we were told " it is their last day here,they are celebrating" What about other guest? I guess we were not importantNo professionalism at all....

It's been a while since I was sincerely impressed this much. From arrival till check out, all exceptional. Super friendly, professional and accommodating staff. Good anemeties. Clean and very comfortable. Wifi was good. Breakfast was great and the choice was impressive. The coffee was so good it touched my soul....

Disappointing Stay – Not the Room We BookedI booked our stay months in advance, expecting a comfortable experience as advertised on the website. However, upon arrival, we were taken through a door marked "Staff Only" and placed in a room that did not seem to be part of the main hotel. Unlike other guests who had key card access, our room had a regular key, making us feel separate from the rest of the hotel.It felt as though the hotel was fully booked, and these rooms were made available to accommodate guests last-minute—even though we had reserved well in advance. Unfortunately, this significantly impacted our experience.Several issues made our stay disappointing:The room was not the one we had booked.The TV wasn’t working, and despite my husband looking forward to watching his rugby match, staff simply checked it and said, "Sorry, it’s not working," without offering a solution.The bathtub leaked, so it wouldn’t hold water properly.There was no hair dryer, even though one was promised.My husband's English breakfast was cold, except for the eggs, which were freshly made.Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations. If the hotel is overbooked, they should be transparent about it rather than placing guests in rooms that don’t match what was advertised. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Our experience at this boutique hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to poor service and lack of attention to detail.From the moment we arrived—well after the 14h00 check-in time—our rooms were still not ready. When we finally received them, one lacked basic amenities such as a towel and a bathroom mat. Additionally, several maintenance issues stood out: missing globes in the chandeliers, broken soap trays, and a general sense of neglect. When we raised these concerns with reception, we were met with dismissive attitudes—eye rolls and shrugs rather than solutions.Breakfast was another letdown. Not a single English breakfast arrived as ordered, and to add to the frustration, the restrooms in the foyer had no toilet paper, with a broken toilet lid further highlighting the lack of upkeep.It’s clear that this hotel has the potential to be a true gem, but mismanagement and disengaged staff are running it into the ground. With proper leadership and a focus on guest experience, it could be an exceptional stay—but at present, it falls far short.

The property was clean when I arrived. The security staff and the reception staff were great.

I forgot my shoes and slides in the wardrobe at the property and they just disappeared.
