The beach, the Spa and the pool
The Aircon in the room was not operating effectively and the restaurant did not have some of the meals listed on their menu.
The food offering is fantastic - whilst the restaurant is very noisy with loud music playing continuously which is not a great experience - the staff serving in the restaurant are amazing. Value for money and all inclusive offering is value for money
First impressions last. Our initial entry into the complex took almost an hour. I entry gate is used out of the 3 available with 2 staff members running from car to car to try and streamline the entry. This is not a good first impression and if anything, this will be there reason why we will not return. The security system is great, but the service offering is not at all great. This happened on numerous occasions exiting and entering the facility.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and met my expectation. the place it beautiful.
The eggs were very bad. The female staff at the restaurant were not so helpful and not friendly. and the weather was unfortunately bad and therefore never got to experience the lagoon and pool
That the place is quiet. I could easily relax without a lot of noise. That it has a gym (Huge bonus). That the hotel was not congested. I rarely bumped into other guests.
I did not like that the place allows for self catering, but there was no microwave oven.I did not like that there was no milk, for tea, only coffee creamer, which I do not like to take.
Broken shower handle. Cold water. Terrible traffic going in and out. No customer care. Staff isn’t friendly at all
We were there with the kids, and they had fun in the lagoon, water is clean and the surroundings.
the entrance gate security are rude and not patient with visitors,
Everything. the place is amazingOur Stay was definitely unforgettable
The big pool, the room, the restaurant and the spa
The property staff, specifically Banele, was so helpful and amazing customer service! Other highlight is the pool attraction.
Very isolated. Does not allow uber drivers/eats to enter the high security gates so you have to walk 1/2 mile to your uber or arrange a golf cart ride.
The room: It was nice and comfortable, a bit on the small side. Not much to say about it but no complaints either. The spa: Very nice. Great service. We each got a massage and were very happy with them. The restaurant: Don’t be fooled by the 1.4 star review online. The food really isn’t that bad and the service was good. The waitresses were quick to take our orders and the food took a reasonable amount of time to arrive. Note: if you book the room and pay extra for the free breakfast through booking.com it is equivalent to a R225 meal voucher per person. One day we were allowed to order off the menu and the next day it was a buffet. All in all, this resort was clean, the people were friendly, it is very safe but the gate situation was extremely hectic, enough so that it would make us think twice about staying there again. We have been to many places with gated communities and have never run into this kind of mayhem before.
Escape to paradise? It’s more like HOW do we escape from this so-called “paradise”. The security at this place is reminiscent of the time I used to work at a corrections facility albeit far less organized. The Gate Guards:The gate guards, as nice as they are, are instructed by the system to make it incredibly difficult to vacate, and at times, enter the premises. Upon entering and exiting you need to ensure you have codes to give the guards at the entrance or exit, which is fine when the codes work. We were told by the guard upon our return after an hour away from the resort that our code was no longer valid and that they had no way to contact the hotel to verify that we were staying there. How is it that the guards that work for the hotel have no way to contact them and to tell the guests that we are out of luck and cannot get back in without us having to contact the hotel ourselves when we already obtained the code before leaving and were given assurance that it would work? Eventually the gate guard that let us out recognized us and managed to figure the code out and let us in but without her we would have been stranded outside the gates. Once back inside the receptionist told us that it was ridiculous that we were told that the gate guard had no way to contact them, as that is what they are supposed to do in these instances. She said he was lying. The next struggle we encountered was later that evening, trying to meet our uber driver who was parked outside the gate waiting for us because they won’t let uber drivers inside. We were given a code to get out the gate but the gate guard said we were not allowed to leave even though there was a “pedestrian” exit leading straight to the uber driver parked merely 30 meters away. The guard was telling us that we could only exit by vehicle and could not just walk out the gate the next time it opened for a car.
Everything about the place top norch, clean n luxury we were VIPs from the gate didn't even que for long wen we got there all thanks to sabelo our host ...perfect was an understatement
The pools, rooms and the people
The weather
everything, stuff members are so friendly & the room is very clean ,I'm so happy
wifi network is bad ,but I enjoyed everything there
The breakfast was value for money, it was very nice, and staff was welcoming and friendly making your stay a memorable one, I am definitely coming back ,they were so welcoming from the gate to hotel
none so far it was very quiet though it was a bit full
We paid the full price for a double room with a large double bed only to be given a small room with an extremely small bed in the name of a view that we did not ask for
We feel robbed, we did not get the value of what we paid for.
The lagoon & water activities.
Uber and other taxis are not allowed into the property --- they can only drop you off or pick you up at the gate.
Did not have any. We have to leave early so we could not have breakfast.
Did not offer the Dove products. The Resturant service was slow the waiter did not pay much attention to our table and he was services the table next to us. We want to order desert but we could not wait
The restaurant, the view at nights, the service i had no complaints for. Very good bath in the exec suite for a tall guy like me and very comfy setup on the couch and tv
The shower was a bit busted. The AC in one of the rooms for deluxe suite gave in near the end
Very good bath for the exec suiteRestaurant service was goodGreat wifi to finish some last minute work
