The room is small and the bath is not convenient.

location was excellent! The hotel was walking to so many attractions, great night life, restaurants, etc. The breakfasts were also over the top, yummy!!

Clean and comfortable room, an extensive selection of food for breakfast, and very reasonably priced!

Hotel was great! Rooms very clean & available early which was a big bonus for us! They serve a nice breakfast & dinner which we're both very good!

Proximity to attractions - lots of things to see and do were a short walk.

Probably being picky but would have liked a larger shower space.

Breakfast was fantastic! And the lobby/seating area was warm and welcoming; we met several nice people there while casually chatting.

Not much storage space for personal items.

The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of windows with excellent natural light. The surroundings were quiet, which made for a good night’s sleep.

On the downside, the décor was tasteless, verging on tacky. Breakfast was abundant but of low quality (the smoked fish in particular was third rate). Bath towels were too small. Surprisingly, this was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed at that did not provide complimentary water in the room—any bottle had to be purchased. Even umbrellas were only available for rent, which felt quite unwelcoming.

Only hotel during the Norway stay where I had to pay for parking. Seems overpriced for the value.

Central location

Lack of detail. Cold eggs, warm not hot water for tea and no plug in bathroom sink!! Pillows poor.

The breakfast was good and the staff was fine. Our room faced the fortress which at any other time would have been great, however, the Feelings festival was that night and our window literally faced the stage. It was so loud we didn’t sleep. We decided to leave the hotel and rebook somewhere else.

Staff was ok. But largely unhelpful. A bit rude when we checked in and asked about whether there were any rooms available that were further from the music.

Breakfast was very good and the hotel was in a great location for access to Bergen sites and restaurants.

The two nights we were there, a large concert for students returning to college was scheduled in the park next door so outside of our window there were literally thousands of people. The concerts ended by 10:30-11 pm (22:30-23.00) so that was good but the breakdown on Saturday night through Sunday morning was incredibly loud and impacted our ability to sleep. This is a very nice hotel but our recommendation is to check the concert schedule - in particular on the final night so you know when they are breaking down the stage area. If you are attending the concert the location is perfect. Or ask for a room that does not face the park.

Very high price of the beers/wine in the reception/min Bar.

Breakfast was great with lots of options. It would be nice if "to order" eggs could be provided. The hotel was very convenient for access to downtown Bergen.

The rooms were very warm. The hotel will need to invest in some type of air conditions if global warming persists. Ceiling fans are an option but the small fans provided were inadequate.

great location for seeing Bergen, fantastic breakfast buffet, plenty of choices.

Beds were very comfortable. The buffet breakfast had many choices and the food was good. The location is within a 10-15 minute walk of Bryggen, the fish market and the funicular.

The electric kettle heating base was missing from the room, probably because the housekeeper was just finishing up when we arrived.

The breakfast buffet was great, friendly staff and convenient location. The room was small but well equipped and I had a beautiful view of the water.

The shower was incredibly slippery and I almost fell a couple times. I did mention this to the staff and they said they would notify facilities.
