Most of the hotel staff apart from the front desk were great and the breakfast was second to none.

Phone did not work and had to go all the way down and alert the front desk to things needing attention like the air not working at all. Amingst a few other things.

We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff goes over and above what is expected. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Breakfast and location were super. Really superior. Staff was fantastic.

Room design was strange. Those night tables were strange. Fitness room was substandard. Stairs in the lobby when carrying luggage?

Our room was beautiful and big. We had a suite. Modern with original historic building details! Bathroom was great. Bar and restaurant very good and very beautiful murals on the walls. Buffet breakfast great.

Big Problem. The parking situation is ridiculous and spoils the experience of a luxury hotel. They really should offer VALET service with this level hotel. Most of their customers can afford it. And their neighbors at Opus XVI did offer that service for a price. (we stayed there at the other end of our trip. They had smaller rooms for the price, but better service) First, finding the parking garage (about 10 zig zag blocks away) when you don't know Bergen streets, Ugh! Then the walk in the windy cold rain to back to the hotel or get our car at the end of our stay. 2-3 blocks would be fine, but the distance is crazy far from the hotel.

Breakfasts were good. Staff, from arrival to departure were professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. We had to depart at 4AM and staff on duty at that early hour were the same. We appreciated the taxi reservation and bagged breakfast snacks to go.

Breakfast was outstanding. The room temperature was a little warm and my air circulator was not working. They had someone look at it and it worked very well afterwards.

Unfortunately the lox provided at breakfast were very subpar, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about

Some rooms are odd , outdated , with poor air circulation,beds are not comfortable with super heavy comforters that don’t breathe .

Location is absolutely unbeatable.

The building looks classic and charming. The restaurant is also jaw dropping with its high arched ceiling. But the room is disappointing as it layout like a 3-star hotel.

Fantastic location. Dining room is amazing and beautiful breakfast room/restaurant. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is wonderful with a huge selection. Chap on reception very, very helpful and welcoming.

No bathroom ventilation/no fan. Absent reading lights. Signage to room very limited and extremely confusing. Room number is on a brass plate and hard to see unless at an angle. Got extremely lost the first day as totally disorientated. No signage after one at lift, frustrating.

Perfect location and great breakfast. Very comfortable room.

Nothing I can think of. I will recommend it to others and plan to stay there again when visiting Bergen.

Hotel is located in a prime location in the center of the city, close to historic sights, restaurants/entertainment, culture, and transportation. Upgraded room was large and quiet with a comfortable bed and pillows. We liked the heated bathroom floor especially. The breakfast buffet, which was excellent, was served in a grand, historic space.

it took some time to heat the room. also i left my blush in the room and by the time i called to ask about it, it was already gone, probably stolen by the staff ☹️

Good location and breakfast.

The room has a decent size but is not very big; likewise, the bathroom is small.The TV was not working, the maintenance guy came and tried to fix but it still didn't work throughout the 7 days that I stayed there.

The hotel is absolutely charming and its location is ideal.

The hotel is wonderful though difficult to navigate if mobility impaired. This is common with European buildings and no fault of the hotel- just make sure to inquire if this is an issue.

While everything was very clean there was an odd smell in the bathroom that we complained about several days in a row that was never addressed

Our room was right over a nightclub and busy street, so the music was pounding and still going at 3:30am Saturday night. Had to go request to be moved to a different part of the hotel
