Helpful maid, great location, great restaurant in lobby, delicious breakfast included.

Room was hot; bathroom was very small; there was limited space to hang things.

Great location, located in the main city square so easy to walk to all main attractions from the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms and were nice and comfortable and buffet breakfast was very good.

Too many people sitting around in the lobby. People would come and sit there for hours and talk loudly, its very intimidating to have them there all the time. The hotel needs to work out how they can avoid having people staying there for so long.

The breakfast was wonderful, I can't say enough about the bountiful and excellent food choices. The location was also good and the staff very friendly and professional.

Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. My husband complained of lack of storage space, as he likes to unpack his suitcase.

Outstanding breakfast! Dining room staff, especially Josiah, were always helpful and friendly. The balcony suite was perfect for our needs.

Sensational breakfast, even had outdoor tables although weather didn’t make that attractive. Huge bathroom especially for Scandinavian standards. Helpful friendly staff. Terrific location!

Lobby limited and hallway decor horrible and marginally clean that had us scared, unnecessarily about what room would be like. A shame entry created such bad first impression as rest was nice.

Nice, modern room. There was always coffee available in the lobby. Staff was friendly, and they arranged for a to-go breakfast for us since we had a very early departure to catch a train. Also, the connecting restaurant food was good, reasonably priced, and a nice atmosphere. This hotel is close to the train station and tram from the airport. Convenient to everything.

During our stay, sreet noise was excessive due to student celebrations, but it may still be a bit noisy during regular times.

Toilets kept running Shower head needs to be positioned just right or else bathroom floods. They charge for umbrellas!

Well run hotel in the heart of Bergen. Pleasant and professional staff. They even packed breakfast for us on our departure day as we had to leave quite early.

The color scheme in the halls wasn’t to my taste, but this was not a big deal.

We stayed at Thon Bristol for 6 nights recently. The location was very central and convenient to walk to most of the things we wanted to see and do. The rooms were small by U.S. standards but were very functional and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and nice hot water. The breakfast was delicious with a very good assortment of breakfast items to choose from. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace to enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast staff were also very friendly. I will say that our room overlooked the square area and it was a bit noisy during the weekend nights - if that is an issue for you. Overall, a great choice for a family trip to Bergen.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was centrally located, so we could walk to everything even in the rain. Breakfast was wonderful!

The location was excellent and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. We had a corner room, and loved the space and ability to people watch along the town square.

The location is great especially if you are arriving with the rail. It's also within walking distance to the wharf. The breakfast option is excellent. The room is nice and clean. Overall it was a great stay. I like it a lot.

The breakfast was as good as we expected. The location was particularly good. We were able to walk to all the parts of town we wanted to see, for dining or sightseeing.

Lots of street noise due to hotel location and lively city night life, we only stayed one night but would have asked to move rooms if staying longer. Not the hotel’s fault though, so no complaints from us.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, most museums and the Bryggen quarter are just a ten minute walk away. It is also conveniently located to transport options: the tram from the airport terminates five minutes away, the terminal for the coastal shipping route is a 10-15 minute walk. The rooms and hallways are solid Thon standard with bright colours. Nothing fancy in the room, really quiet at night. The breakfast buffet offers many options. Friendly staff.
