Pros +
- Staff, breakfast, laundry available
- The staff are unbelievably kind and helpful, providing plentiful recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. You feel really taken care of here and entirely at home. The inclusive breakfast was so special too—every detail of this hotel has been executed with thoughtfulness and intention!
- Breakfast was very good and the location was great. Since I traveled by train and bus this hotel was very close to walk to.
Cons -
- Would have loved air conditioning as the first part of our stay was warm. Provided 2 fans which was helpful!
- The "hike" (15 minutes or so) uphill from the train station (in the rain!) wasn't great, but it was not difficult to find. The place has no elevator for the upstairs rooms, only a narrow spiral staircase. This could be problematic for some folks. The shower was nice, but because of poor design, let water escape into the rest of the bathroom. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying. The breakfast eating room was sort of small and could get crowded at peak times.
- room 3rd floor witthout elevator was unexpected!Fan in the bathroom was extremely loud, should at least have been possible to turn on the light without the fan!

Beautiful small low key hotel in a quiet out of the way neighborhood. Great breakfast and brownies in the afternoon. Quiet.

This is a very nice and friendly hotel. The breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable, spacious and with nice details. It is a place to feel at home.
Excellent housekeeping, desk and kitchen staff. Single room is smaller than a jail cell and sparse in content. I switched to a larger and excellent room. Breakfast very good. Shower flooded bathroom floor. The beds were horribly soft, and there was no back support at all. Delightful lobby sitting area. You need to be able to walk uphill to the hotel and up the stairs to your room. Very nice looking hotel.
I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Park Bergen. The hotel is well-run and there is a comfortable, quiet feeling about the place. My room was small, but clean and efficient. There was a work desk and TV, though it could have used a few more electrical outlets. The bathroom was well laid out and the shower was pretty big. More towels were available outside the room on the hallway landing. Breakfast was quite good. It was nice to have hot drinks and brownies available at most hours.

the view was excellent! and a very personal atmosphere which I appreciated!

1) Unique decoration style - with many self collected and antique pieces to make this heritage hotel special. 2) Owner and boss was around to share the hotel stories is a plus! 3) Self service buffet breakfast - with fresh fruit juice. Daily free afternoon tea and brownie to be enjoyed anytime during the stay. 4) Very warm and personalized services. Have also provided their recommendation local F&B list - provided some insider tips of what are the best places to eat and drink. Too bad, we're checking out and leaving, else we will be delighted to check out some of it.
Location was good, 20 minute walk into Bergen. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a map plus a sheet with restaurant recommendations which was fabulous as we arrived after 7pm.
Nothing really.
Beautiful attention to detail. Kind and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and brownies. A family run hotel that is obvious the proprietors want to make sure that their guests have everything g they need to make their stay extremely comfortable and pleasant.
The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated how great the staff was about keeping the food fresh.
Because of the shower's configuration, a spare towel in the bathroom to use as a floormat would have been useful and appreciated.
Charming hotel in a beautiful old building. The staff was extremely helpful with reservations and directions. Very nice breakfast. Very close to train, tram, and harbor area.
Beautiful looking place, comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff. Location is great - 10 minute walk to Central Railway Station, 15 minutes to thee harbor where so many great restaurants are located.
No complaints. Some people might not like the fact that there is no elevator and no telephones in room but this didn't bother me.
24/7 tea and brownies were such a welcome surprise when I arrived after a long day cruising on the fjords. The staff were so nice, really felt like a guest in their home. The breakfast was amazing. Perfect small room for a solo traveler and felt very safe.
The room was great. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was very helpful.
It was a little further from the center of town than I remembered.
Convenient location yet quiet at night.
Room a little small. Older building so no ac, but was fine with the fan in August.
Lovely location & very quiet neighborhood. Included wonderful breakfast.
If I were to return to Bergen, I would stay at this property.
Very good breakfast, location. Located near the university. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Our third floor room was clean and nice size. Easy to sleep here.
No elevator (but this is minor).
The hotel is elegant and charming, and our room on the third floor was comfortable and well furnished. It is in a lovely neighborhood away from the most touristy areas of Bergen.
Breakfast was a bit congested.
